Enough with the 180 rpm hand cannons already!! We need a new meta

I agree. I think buffing other archetypes of hand cannons slightly will add some more variety to the mix. 180s are easy to use and can 2 crit 1 body in the case of NF and LH, so why use a 140 that can't do that? 9 RisposteOkay just an idea. What if they make Notforgotten and Luna’s howl both exotics. They already perform at an exotic level. Make an exotic quest for them for pve players as well. We can call them always remembered and sol’s rally or something.

If you think about it, meta is a way to refresh the loot grind without having to come up with new weapons. Note, that i'm not necessarily saying that it's a bad thing. A good example is the Black Scorpion. I only had one ever drop, it had dropmag, zen moment, rampage. I used it in PVE, a little PVP and it feels like a solid gun. Nothing compared to pulses but it was fun to use so I kept it. Fast forward to the scout buff and everybody is flocking to Banshee to get them but it seems Black Scorpions are a bit rare. Maybe next month we'll be farming for the best rolled Edge Transit, who knows. Gun balance will be hard on FPS. Best to probably shoot for is more variety and viability.

2 RisposteI wish Bungie would bring all the other hand cannons in line with 180s. Right now they feel horrible, even in PvE. I go back to ply D1 because I miss how crispy hand canons used to be.

6 RisposteLuna and NF need a rework. They'll always dominate unless they are made unusable. That or theres suddenly other guns that kill from range in .6 or whatever

I find shotguns about a thousand times more annoying than Luna’s. Not everyone has those guns but everyone has a shotgun. The number one most used gun right now is Dust Rock Blues.

It would be great if they fixed the recoil, bloom, and all that on every other archetype that isn’t 180.

2 RisposteModificato da piratepatchy243: 2/26/2019 1:15:33 PM180s themselves aren't a problem, they're just a solid piece given they're smooth recoil. They have the second slowest ttk, 2 crit 2 body or 6 body for a kill. LH/NF are a different animal, shouldn't be judged as a standard 180.

I mostly only PvP in quick play since I just enjoy a more relaxed approach, whilst I do see a lot of hand cannons, I do fairly well with my scout rifle from gambit, and also the huckleberry is actually really good; don't discount it. moral of the story: find what works for your play style and adapt against the meta. that said, the hand cannon meta is getting old lol

10 RisposteI'd say the best course of action would be to bring console D2 in line with tje PC version, but there's apparently a large portion of PC players fighting to stop this change. Why are they fighting to stop a balance change that wont mess their version anyway?
