There have been so many games that focus on pvp. Look at Density. SALT CITY. So Anthem is for the crowd who just want to play on their own terms.
Were you aware the lack of pvp caused all reviewers to hate on the game?

1 RispondiIt’s why I’m not buying it actually. I respect your opinion tho
-
No... I’m sorry not trying to be rude but... You sound extremely biased and delusional... Your blind to its problems...
perhaps you could join the void...
-
6 RisposteWhy are anthem fans so amazingly defensive of their shit game?
-
Have a been playing a different anthem? I haven’t had the same problems, and neither have my friends. I have my own list of complaints but I want to play it a bit more to refine my opinion. I’m having fun when I can play. Sadly right when this game released work picked up really hard, so my time is limited.
-
7 RisposteSales did bad due to overhype, which i predicted months ago. Overhype always cripples games. Only complaint i have is the gun sounds/feel needs to be beefier. Load screens are fine on the x. Witcher 3 has way worse load times.
-
26 RisposteI thought it was the crippling load screens, bugs, lack of polish, and overall boring-as--blam!- genericness that made people's reviews low?
-
3 RisposteThe abundance of loading screens and jank frame work keep me from buying it.
-
It not having PvP isn't why it's getting hate. No PvP means the loot at the bare minimum should be unique and powerful it's the sole content they are focusing on being a looter shooter. While anthem gives you re-skins and can't even be bothered dedicating certain random rolls to certain guns.
-
Game is fun imo, doesnt need pvp.
-
2 RisposteThe lack of PVP allows for the game to develop in ways and allow for power-progression that isn't possible when you have competitive multiplayer that people want to be tests of skill....and not build-strength.
-
10 Risposteand its load screens are why i dont buy it
-
It's not even in the top 100 on PSN in the US. It seems like a lot of people didn't even buy it to begin with. https://store.playstation.com/en-us/grid/STORE-MSF77008-TOPGAMES/1?gameType=ps4_full_games

I just like being an AC-130 aka Storm
-
3 RisposteIt's also the reason why a lot of people don't buy it.

1 RispondiModificato da RingersCheckmate: 2/26/2019 9:19:53 AMAnother post I saw says it best. No PvP doesn’t mean PvE is guaranteed to be good. Also, Anthems sales are looking to be pretty rough. So whatever Destiny did clearly worked better in EA’s eyes.
-
This is false but aight. We know you like Anthem. You win
-
50 RispostePvp wouldn’t save the game for me... Too many other issues, mainly coming down to I just don’t like the game
-
9 RisposteModificato da MexicanSunnyD: 2/25/2019 11:24:38 PMI doubt that all reviewers hate on the game simply for a lack of PvP. Most reviews I've read don't mention it at all.
-
2 RisposteOkiieee we get it you like Anthem MKAY.
-
6 RisposteModificato da CatMan: 2/27/2019 2:25:05 AMYou're wrong. Edit: lol guy needs someone to talk to so he trolls online to try n trigger people.
-
I have not heard a single review focusing on the negative aspect of having no PvP. Anthem is just an average game with or without PvP.
-
3 RisposteI've heard there are bugs galore right now, I'll wait till it's release to by it. It miggt just be what I'm looking for.
-
1 RispondiModificato da Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 2/25/2019 6:33:23 PMI think they are intentionally trying to appeal to that market. Whether there’s enough of a market for that kind of game remains to be seen. I’m all for it. I’m so over PvP games at this point that I welcome it.
-
4 RisposteFalse. Anthem just had good advertising for a shit game. People saw something pretty and went "oh that looks cool." Experiencing the product for themselves was mediocre at best. A good example would be, just because a movie's preview was entertaining doesn't mean the movie itself was good.

Aaaand he's back Ladies and Gents!
