Bungie don’t give in to Izanagi’s Burden Complaints!
Bungie stop giving in to all these people complaining about Exotic Quests steps. Now before I receive any hate, I do agree that the black armory rare bounty does need to be increased or should be able to be purchased. That being said do not take out the shattered throne portion of the quest. I literally soloed the shattered throne all the way up to Vorgeth then had my friend help me two man the rest.
It seems like You all give in too easy to these demands and end up reversing your intial requirements, just like ace of spades. The problem with this is you are allowing the players to pick and choose what they want to do and what they don’t want to do to achieve an exotic item and this will become a common occurrence. The other problem with this is that if you are going to relax the requirements for this particular exotic quest people will ask that you do the same for other exotic quests that are time gated or require certain cycled activities to be completed.
For Example I don’t have wish eneders bow and it requires you to do quests steps in the shattered throne. Should I be handed the Wish Enders bow simply because I don’t want to wait for the full curse week? No I shouldn’t. Bungie please for the sake of this game stop giving in to every complaint and making it easier to achieve certain rewards. Stand by your decisions to make these items challenging to obtain, that’s what makes for a great reward in the end.

7 RisposteYour argument is assuming people don't want the shattered throne step in because of difficulty. It's not that, it's the structure of the quest as a whole. You have to hope for a Rare Bounty from Dailies/Weeklies or the Milestone, and if you don't get it you have to wait until next week for a CHANCE. While Shattered Throne is somewhat easy and I have solo'd it myself, I'm a little agitated that a heavily Time-Gated quest has another Time Gate if you don't get lucky enough to get a Rare bounty, or one you can complete within the time span before Shattered Throne goes away. While Removing the Shattered Throne step is a tad bit of a stretch, design-wise it should never be RNG into a Timegated Activity. It should be the opposite, so in the case you get unlucky you can at least farm knowing you won't be restricted until the next cycle the time gate will allow. Your argument about being handed Wish-Ender because you didn't do the steps during shattered throne also is a terrible argument, mainly due to the fact Wish-Ender A. does not have anything tied to RNG B. All steps minus one are tied to Shattered Throne. Izanami's Burden's quest was time-locked since the beginning of Black Armory, then Tied behind RNG followed by a Time-Gated activity. It's not challenge, it's luck.

Just from a lore standpoint, it has NOTHING to do with the Forge's so it's basically an artificial barrier. It should at least be an activity done on a weekly basis like the rotating Petra mission. The second issue is the rare bounty. Not every player in the community visits reddit or youtube to see that you needed a rare bounty as part of the quest. Some people avoid spoilers, some prefer to be surprised. But the drop rate is incredibly low AND then you add in the 3 week shattered throne. That combination caused people to miss out on a quest simply because of RNG. It's one thing for RNG to not reward somebody an item. It's another when RNG cockblocks a quest for 3 weeks. Keeping in mind, this ENTIRE DLC has experienced accessibility issues. From the power level of the initial Volundr forge, to Bersugia being locked behind a puzzle and the ridiculously long & utterly pointless Izanami forge quest

listen, the only thing from stopping me completing that quest last week was a rare bounty I could actually complete if, for example, the shattered throne objective was the first objective people would not be so mad about not being able to complete the quest and having to wait 3 -blam!-ing weeks just to get a sniper I'm probably not gonna use. you solo'd the shattered throne all the way to vorgeth, GOOD FOR YOU I bet I could as well if I really wanted to it's not that hard. for your pore example of wish ender, wish ender can only be started in the dungeon and has no bearing on anything else in the entire game besides the eggs. Izanagi's burden on the other hand does, you have to complete multiple end game level activities just to get -blam!-ed over by rng and then finally get the bounty, complete it, and then have to wait 3 weeks just to continue the quest. please don't defend Bungie on their bad quest design.

5 RisposteThe is a difference between making a game difficult....and making a game INACESSIBLE. No one is complaining that the quest is too difficult. They are complaining that the quest is INACESSIBLE. 1. The quest for the final key is glitched. So once you have it on one character, it won't drop for any others. 2. Access to the quest completion is gated behind the completion of a BA rare bounty. Which is PURE RNG...and has a VERY low drop rate. I do almost all of the available BA bounties each day....and I've only had a total of 4 of them to drop. 3. Then you have to do the Shattered Throne. Which is very difficult content that is only available once every 3 weeks....and there is no matchmaking. ...and all of this is taking place in a game environment where most veteran players have very few friends that continue to play this game, and most clans aren't very functional. So while I'm perfectly comfortable with the difficulty of the content....Bungie's continued insistence on making content inaccessible and multi-player while not providing any in-game tools to deal with that multiplayer requirement is starting to get tiresome.

Buddy you missed the point completely. No one complained about how “hard” the quest is and wants is to be made easy... Though soloing the throne isn’t really a challenge if you’ve been in the game for a bit and I also don’t mind to grind at all, even if it is a lot. I completed my Ace way before the quest was put into baby mode... But being locked out of a quest entirely just because of a bug and a ridiculous quest design where a timegate follows a RNG step just because you picked up the quest with the one char out of three that doesn’t have a rare bounty ready to go is just frustrating to the max. So it’s not that i don’t want to do the throne. It’s the opposite! I want to do the god damn thing. It’s just that I can’t before being blessed by RNGsus with the char with which the quest was picked up. And even if that happens now (what it actually did today), we’re trapped in the timegate. Literally all that would have been necessary was to put the steps in another order to keep the quest alive for all players. Do you really not understand that people now ask for a fix?

First of I wanna make clear: - Bungie should not have highlighed streamers as the best and brightest. - Everyone who belives w/o evidance to back it up, that streamers are given secret information to unlock and or complete objectives before anyone else. Are tinfoil hat conspiracy theorists. In any case, with the unlocking of the forge early. This in my opinion only downplays the look in on our community even feather. Thus unfortunately. Bungie will cave in. Given enough time. It's just fact.

1 RispondiI believe the Shattered Throne is the most beautiful map in all of the Destiny games. When I entered the first area I just said "Wow". Bungie is right in pointing all players in that direction. The rare bounties are another matter.

The complete a forge activity with all black armory weapons equipped bounty dropped for me about the second week of the launch. I completed it about two weeks after, well before this final forge dropped. By the time I saw the final quest steps on You tube, as I haven't played Destiny for a minute, the bounty was already done. Now I don't know if it's retroactive, but I doubt it. Which means I'll probably have to wait for a new one to drop. And that's the issue here. That's most of the '' Feedback.'' Not complaints. Who isn't going to turn in a bounty once completed? Most players do. Especially when those bounties drop new armor pieces. Like the seals, the issue here is the rng element of quest steps, not what players can control through their own skill. And I think your post fails to address this issue, which is the real issue. This is a vision, and an expansion that could have been thought through better. The timegating, and rng aspects simply frustrate the player. The game is not more engaging or more involved by making players wait three months to complete a quest, while on top of that possibly adding another week with rng. This is legitimate feedback. Just because you don't agree doesn't make it complaining.

3 RisposteI loved how bungie did RNG drops for D1, I actually felt a sense of like accomplishment farming for grasp and getting one or going for icebreaker or Vex in the first raid. Especially farming Alakul? I think thats how you spell it but farming him for the helmet and when I finally got those items it felt so good to show them off and I felt accomplishment. Tbh I love the RNG factor of destiny, I really don't think they should change it but thats just me. I'm not hating on anyone just here to give my opinion and to here others give there's here so please no hate.

The rare bounty isnt the issue. The issue is people trying to get it in time to complete Shattered Throne requirement. Just make the Shattered Throne requirement BEFORE the rare bounty need and problem solved. People dont need to wait 2 weeks for throne to come back then.

I dont mind the challenge the problem is that there is absolutly no connection to the forges...no lore connection no story connection its literally only to make the gun harder to get and not every1 has to time to run the dungeon or have the friends to get it done...people have the right to play with exotics they paid for in the dlc without the obligation to join a fireteam to get the quest step done

I got rare bounty at the last minute before reset yesterday and knocked it all out for the sniper.... i was going to be pissed if i had to wait 3 weeks for that. Good luck Guardians

I got a rare bounty when i got 4 pieces of black armory armor. I actually love the shattered throne. It's a favorite activity of mine, i wish once you beat it once, you can access it whenever.
