You living out in the wops? Then maybe you shouldn't be playing crucible if it's going to impact the other 11 people you're playing with.
I entirely support Bungie on this decision. Sorry, but it's going to be helping a lot more people than it's going to hurt.
I'm from New Zealand, so I may well end up being on the receiving end of restriction too. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

No no no I don't play Crucible at all.
-
Well that's lucky. This will only affect crucible players.
-
How big a problem is laggy players in crucible? I suspect it can't be many or Bungie wouldn't be going down the ban route.
-
It doesn't need to be many. Since the game is P2P, it only takes one player to make the entire game crap. So even if as many as 1 in 3 games are laggy, that still only means one of potentially 33 people are the issue.

Modificato da Northern: 12/21/2018 10:23:04 PMSo 3% of 855k - current daily PvP players. Potentially 25k bans. Bungie have already decided the risk is acceptable. They might recoup some of the 25k with AWOL PvP players returning.
-
I think a lot of people would return if they know that they're actively trying to make the gameplay quality better for everyone. Besides, these aren't permabans, players who get restrictions will have the chance to sort out their connection before they come back. For most people, all they wouldd need to do is change from wifi to a wired connection anyway.
-
Even if the 25k took the hump and left the franchise, it's a manageable loss. To put that figure into perspective, since BA dropped, Daily PvE population figures are down by 700k.

Exactly.
