Anyone else bored of the same old grind?
This milestone gear up system is actually killing my enjoyment of this game, it feels like a tedious chore doing the exact same shit every week in order to gear up.
Actually tilts me beyond belief.

I won't bother playing my other two characters until this one has 650 weapons. Probably won't get there before the next pass content drops and the power level rises again. I still like playing the game in short spurts.

1 RispondiI am. I was hoping the new stuff would.be good but I spent all last week leveling my characters doing the same crap I did all last season. So I could do the new stuff. No new area no new strikes. crap gear that's only obtainable in the fordges which will get old fast. If this is what we have too look forward to I might have to find another addiction. Maybe crack. I don't see myself playing for.much longer.

Nope. Tuesdays are my favorite day. Grind reset day. And someone below said it perfect. If you don't like it, then stop playing. The forums will not change the game to suit your wants.

You're playing an MMO and you're complaining but the grind? You mean the mostly easy to complete tasks that reward ou with gear and exotics? RDD2 is that way....

3 RisposteI got to 600 on my Hunter and stop playing after that, messed around with my warlock a little bit but just didn't ever get into it enough. Got up to 607 after a week of grinding and my buddy who i play with most days got to maybe 604 and we both just stopped. Now were behind and the end game stuff isn't really that great so why bothering trying to catch up, especially once the next season drops and the light goes up another 50. Milestones combined with an RNG leveling system, combined with bad loot, terrible patches, and overall bad RNG dropping the same useless gear which slows your progression to a crawl just ruined this game. D1 was fun, whether you thought the drop rate was too fast or too slow - either way the game was still fun to play... D2 is just not fun. Strikes are just missions, PvP is literally just falling apart, Gambit is not worth the load time to get in, and the Raids are just giant puzzles with very lackluster rewards. Hoping D3 changes the progression system away from RNG and drops the milestones so you have actual freedom to play how you want to play.

I never thought I'd say this but yessssss! I've played this game on and off since launch of d1 and I'd have to say in my opinion it's the enhancement cores that really make it feel like a chore.... I just want to be able to use armor that has the perks I want and the guns that have the perks I want. Feels like I just got to that point in forsaken then black armory comes and forces me back to using the powerful gear garbage drops. Cant even use exotics because its constantly having to feed enhancement cores into them to keep them leveled up.

I quit playing cause the raid was poo and there was no point to the grind when I can just wait and buy DLC to power up. Meh!

2 RisposteIMO the fact that D2 PvP sucks in every way imaginable kind of highlights the staleness. In D1 at least PvP was an enjoyable filler between new content drops.

No, there are so many different triumphs to go for. Haven't been able to finish all previous content before the next expansion since Warmind came out.

Yup! and you can literally complete all of the milestones but raid & forge in like 3 hours in one character. after that there is zero to no reason to play. In D1 no matter what you were doing you still level up? I remember crucible and faction drops always gave you substantial level growth?

we need way more gear to grind for weapons and armour plus the planet vendors need a major update to them
