The white worm in the books of sorrow says “o vengeance mine” this could have a lot of implications.
My personal theory is that the arhamkara and the worms are linked old news right (sarcastic) but what if they are the light and dark equivalent.
So that means their could be a leviathan equivalent and traveler equivalent for the darkness like for example those ships at the end of d2 could be the traveler equivalent and as for the leviathan equivalent o don’t know

24 RisposteIt seems that the Ahamkara and Worms are connected, but the whole line of “O _____ mine” seems to simply be common phraseology used to manipulate. Now, as for your point about one being light and the other dark, I have to disagree. The Worms larvae and the Ahamkara’s bargains are VERY similar. They grant power in the short term, but screw the other party over in the long run.

14 Risposte<Ahamkara powers are SUPER entwined with what's described as Darkness powers. They live beyond death and corrupt those around them with their bargains. They are no creatures of the Light.>

2 RisposteIf they are linked, it’s purely through regional similarities or something to make them use the same exact phrasing. They aren’t 100% the same beings. The Ahamkara came into existence WELL after the Worm Gods

This theory also works with the whole idea of the dark and light need each other to exist (which I don’t particularly agree with but it’s important to weigh in from all angles)
