They just never learn, do they? Forget the fact most people didn't like the artificial longevity of other time gated content before, let's do it again...
It's true.. after you do stage 1 of the Quest you are now forced to wait an amount of time for the next stage... we got literally 2 min of content which wasn't content any different than what was already in the game, just pick up 10 drops. I think many of us were under the impression this quest would be more of a uh... story quest...
I am not here moaning about not having rewards right away - I'm disappointed because I thought me and my friend would have a QUEST to do together... what we got instead was a glorified, timegated Patrol.

1 RispondiTo be fair, we don't know if we have to wait a week. The next step could happen tomorrow.

2 RisposteGot 2 new exotics and malfeasance quest in the first hour no complaints here.
-
2 RisposteWe had to wait half a month for this quest to come out..... Now we have to wait a month and a half to even obtain the weapon, this is ridiculous. Gonna get my milestones done and hop back on Red Dead Redemption 2.
-
2 RisposteIt I'll take 3 weeks to get thunder lord. So the end of November.

Modificato da Star Gazer2: 11/1/2018 3:32:35 AMI haven't been on in like... forever... Glad to see nothing's changed. edit: downvoted? wow, so sensitive.

18 RisposteWell seeing as the reward is a gun class that isn’t in the game yet how are ppl surprised
-
4 RisposteModificato da Tav: 10/31/2018 4:27:56 AMFunny how they never Time gate PvP gun quests!!! They could have just made us complete more content that would take longer. I don't have an issue with the grind per say. But 10 minutes and then wait a week is just poor. Artificial longevity is Bungo's party trick...

So with this quest there now, are FOL bounties a thing of the past? We can’t wrap up the mask collections? I was on vacation last week 😞
-
6 RisposteI swear I'm breaking a pencil if it requires a pvp step!

4 Risposte
They just never learn, do they? It's true.. after you do stage 1 of the Quest you are now forced to wait an unknown amount of time for the next stage. Could be a day, could be a week - either way it's total BS. Major hype killed. I mean half of today's patch's hype was resting in that quest, and they just pissed it away Bungo style. EDIT: For people who don't know what quest I'm talking about, it's part of the Festival of the Lost, the quest was added in today's patch and an be "accessed" from Amanda Holiday. I am unsure if you have to do the other Festival quest first.
What did you get for completing it,powerful gear.
-
Modificato da Champ: 10/31/2018 4:47:40 AMIf it was only a day I wouldn't be too annoyed but 3 -blam!-ING WEEKS????
-
Seriously not a big deal. Just take it as far as it will go and then move on to something else. There’s always something else.
-
2 RisposteWhen I heard that the quest for Thunderlord is time gated, there was only one word that I could think of. Why? Why time gate this quest? One of the aspects that was hyped up about this Festival is getting to solve the murder of Master Ives. Even Amanda says we shouldn't let the trail get cold when you start the quest. So why prolong letting us have Thunderlord?

4 Risposte
Begin by aligning the day’s pattern to the light.
After hearing that the quest was time gated, i didn't even bother to get on to do it. Instead i went on bo4. Sadly that is more enjoyable than destiny right now for me.
-
I mean.. the calander says hmg's wont return until december. Probably a month long quest to get it.
-
2 Rispostei was super hyped for this quest ive finished nearly everything in forsaken, guess back to playing like 3 hours a week. same old shit with bungie
-
2 RisposteTwo things. First the answer to your question. You can access the quest step without doing FotL for the past 2 weeks. I haven’t done any of it on my hunter and the Ives book step is still available by talking to Amanda. Second, you said “They never learn, do they?” It’s more like we never learn do we?
-
1 Rispondi3 weeks to complete the quest. 3 weeks in Festival of the Lost. It's almost like it made too much sense so they did the most illogical thing that they could. Bungie gets a few things right with Forsaken, then hands control back over to the baboons, chimpanzees, howling monkies, and marmosets that run Destiny.
-
2 RisposteI bet if you wait a few months you can do all the steps one after the next. No promises but if waiting for the next step is getting to you... consider going to a different game and then returning to D2 after a few months.
-
73 RisposteThe self entitled, hand me everything complaining in this community is beyond ridiculous.
-
3 RisposteIt could be one new step each day. Why jump to conclusions thinking it has to be a week?
-
5 RisposteThis is probably annoying for you but maybe if you guys don’t hack into the pc files or whatever it’s called and figure out everything before it even gets released, you wouldn’t be as disappointed as everyone else and wonder what the quest is even for. You guys ruined it for yourself.
-
I don't care but i will finish the quest im playing rd2 and destiny 2 so whatever bungie does won't be bad for me.
