God please just deposit your motes already...
I played about 10 matches of Gambit yesterday and in almost half someone on my time kept trying to get 15 motes whenever we need literally 5 for the Primeval and they were all high in power. I lost every round someone did this. If you're one of those people and you see this please just for the sake of us all just deposit motes... it's not hard.
Edit: Gambit also boils down to your luck of getting heavy ammo to use something op. ( *Cough* *Cough* Sleeper, Queens breakers, and 1k Voices) I'm not saying I want them nerfed but they are indeed op.

Or, stop trying to get enough motes for a large blocker. Small and medium takes almost the same amount of time to kill. You're wasting time if you aren't depositing small and medium blockers. I understand if you're trying to get your bounty done, but other than that, we don't need large blockers, ever. Just get your motes to the bank. Invasions become useless if you deposit all the time. I promise, you'll almost always win if you do this.

4 RisposteDepends on the scenario really. Yes, when you need only 5 as a team it's dumb. But I find that at that point it's almost immaterial over how many motes to summon - you must protect the guy who has the motes. I've lost count of the number of times getting that last 5 banked takes many, many minutes because everybody goes off on their own trying to get the final 5 themselves. And then dies. Over and over. As soon as the Drifter says 'You've got enough motes to summon a Primeval' scan the horizon for who has them and for flip's sake HAVE THEIR BACK. This is a team mode. If you don't play as a team you'll screw it up. Gambit is a tactical mode. If you go into it with random matchmaking it will always be a hit or miss thing.

1 RispondiThe other day, playing Gambit I noticed several players invade with 15 motes and then die. If I have five or more, I always bank.Some people don't understand the faster you deposit the more time you'll have to take down the boss.

6 RispostePersonally i always try to win but if we loose i dont really care or rage. I try and do some bountys while Im at it but not to the extent that i ruin the match for everyone. The only thing that buggs me sometimes are mote theifs. When i kill a large amount of adds and get away with 2 motes because you have another player shadowing you at all times and runs past you as soon as you kill something like a vacuum cleaner sucking up all the motes.

I agree to this, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try to get fifteen in the bank if you can coordinate with your team. For an example, if we're at a turning point in the game and I see my teammate heading towards the bank with 12 or more motes and blockers are in the way, I clear them out the best way I can. That's the only exception, but other than that 6-10 at the minimum and if the Drifter says 'You got enough for a Primeval!" For god's sake, BANK!" stop what you are doing and BANK!" And that's my rant for the day. ;)

Yeah nothing better than them trying to get 15 motes to only die and make the rest of the team clean up the mess. As far as heavy, unless it's boss melting, I primarily invade with my Chattering Bone. It outguns most of those weapons any day.

3 RisposteAll my frustrations went away when i ran with some guys on my clan we peeled off about 6 or 7 wins in a row before we had to disband, but we had a dedicated invader who always got multikills, we had a guy who would handle the invader and dam he would melt that sucker, and we plugged in motes everytime we got cleared, nobody was trying to get 15, we would just keep sending small blockers and saving supers for the Primeval, it was casual and fun, Gambit is team oriented and works best with a team. If you are a day 1 player there is no excuse not to have a team. I never met anyone in my clan in real life dont even know their real names but when we link up the game is so much more fun and rewarding, the stress filled solo grind isn't anywhere nearly as fun.

Yea, I don't get why people do that....if you only need 5 motes for a primeval and you deposit 15, it doesn't count as a large blocker nor does it count you depositing 15...lol

1 RispondiHow I play Gambit as a Titan Solo or with a team. Run of fist of Havoc Wear An Insurmountable Skullfort Never top running and shoulder barge all minor adds, use shotgun when applicable. don't worry about picking up all motes, my job is to kill everything and bank whatever the enemy spawns in to a new area unless I have 15. Rinse and repeat.
