Is anyone else just plan tired of all the jumping puzzles in Destiny 2? I have had enough of them. It almost seems that when Bungie can't come up with something unique or new, we get some or another jumping puzzle? For whisper it was ok, made sense, to do it big time once. But not over and over and over. Really, if I wanted to play a platformer game, I would. But Destiny is a First Person Shooter... or it used to be, right? Enough with the blasted jump puzzles! For example, does every ascendant challenge have to be a jumping puzzle more than a combat challenge, no, enough is enough.
Edit... This topic has really hit a nerve... over 500 posts!

No I love em

If there was no jumping puzzles in the ascendant challenges they would b far too easy. They're not exactly hard now once you're above 545 so they need some sort of challenge in them

I love jumping puzzles, it’s one of Destiny’s defining qualities.. go play cod

No, not really
-
Sorry but jumping puzzles made all the D1 raids fun.

It's really all just a big easter egg. Jumping around like Mario. Shooting at things in first person like Doom. RNG like Little Red Hood. etc etc

I don't mind them if they are not horrible

Play some Mario music. And get down Charlie Brown!!

Equip a sword, go to town.

2 RisposteI got better at them after EoW, I would prescribe some Crash or Jak and Daxter. Maybe a little Ratchet and Clank

Moderation! Very puzzle. Much jump.

2 RisposteI'm not a fan of the jump puzzles. A few, maybe... but it's one of the weakest things in the game. It's a first person shooter, it lacks the proper jump mechanics. When I want to do some jump puzzles I'll fire up my PS3 and play American McGee's Alice.

2 RisposteI get where your coming from with this weeks AC... I’m a few light levels low and had to take a few cracks at it, so the jumping part was insult to injury at that point... However as a whole I disagree. I like the jumping parts, like in whisper, and feel they add to the grandeur of the environment.
