Is The EP Shotgun Still Worth Grinding For?
So I missed out on obtaining this during the Warmind era. If I took the time to search for a team and farmed for the Ikelos_SG would it be worth it? Like, is it still the powerhouse it once was?

Finally around like 20 attempts later I’ve finally got it!

Absolutely. Probably the best pve shotgun they’ve ever made. For pvp there are some better choices, but you can’t beat the ikelos’ utility.

I just got mine the other day, didn’t really care enough to grind for it pre forsaken but I really enjoy it. I would recommend grinding for it, it’s not that hard now, you can easily do it with 4 people now and it melts primevals in gambit.

2 RisposteBadlander is very good, with a magazine of 8 and a good roll, it is very comparable. The one thing you will get by having ep shottie is the perk that increases damage after a melee hit, which is unique.

Totally WOrth It still a Top Shotgun even without the new Masterwork System + Mod System still really good, it drops atm from Ep so go on :D

But if you want a more personal style and aren't going for boss kills with a shotgun you can easily find new ones with some interesting random perks.

It’s still good, IMO my go to shotgun for pve, but for pvp you can get better rolls with other shotguns.

Thanks, your post inspired me to give it another shot. Took about 5 bosses and it finally dropped. Then it dropped 2 more times in the next 3 attempts, which pissed my friend off who was still trying for it.

100%. Since elemental type is fixed now, if you run shotgun in your special slot, you'd need Ikelos, Badlander, and Zenith (Argos raid) to get auto-shotguns with each element type.

The ep shotgun is epicly good, melts bosses.... Definitely worth the grind, been actually running ep for randoms on Mars, ep is fun grind :)
