Every time I play Destiny 2 on my ps4 pro, it crashes at some point. Sometimes it randomly crashes and other times it consistently crashes in certain areas. Weird thing is, this only happens in Destiny 2. Every other game I play works perfectly fine.
Before Forsaken, the game would just crash after about three hours of playing, then after a restart, it would work fine. When Forsaken launched, I couldn't go into the Jetsam of Saturn area at all or my game would crash within a minute. After I reinstalled, it worked until I started exploring the dreaming city, then it crashed continuously in the starting area there. Now crucible crashes every other match, gambit crashes every match.. there's not much I can do in this game now.
The error code that I keep getting is CE-34878-0. I know that this is a ps4 error code, but when I contacted them, they said that since it only happens with Destiny 2, that it might be something on Bungie's end. So I'm asking here for help.
I've tried making sure that the ps4 has plenty of space to vent air (even bought a cooling stand for it). I've tried reinstalling, rebuilding the ps4 database, and re-initializing the ps4. Nothing has helped. If anyone knows what the problem might be or has any other suggestions, I'm all ears.

1 RispondiI'm having the exact same issue as well, same area too. This is kind of ridiculous that it's still happening two years into the games development. I've read that this is a problem with the PS4 Pro's HDD but I doubt that my hard drive is failing considering it only happens with this game and is still happening after reinstalling both the game and the PS4 operating system. I'm getting really fed up.

This was an issue on D2 launch. Took weeks to get it fixed. Happens for me too. Sometimes I can go hours, sometimes minutes without crashing.
