Finally after 50+ hours! Exotics should stay this rare!
My first forsaken exotic! Trinity Ghoul and I love it! It’s beautiful! What exotics have you guys got?

For me, all expansion exotics have been non-existent rare. They never drop unless it’s one you quest for.

Everyone's all "WOOT! this is perfect!" when they get a Forsaken exotic as their first. When your first drop in 30-50 hours is some D1 boots, it's a little less thrilling.

im somewhere between 70-90 hours in forsaken and still have not gotten 1 exotic to drop. math time, 50 average hours per exotic x 20 exotics (not including the ones we know have quest lines, 24 total).That's 1000 hours to collect only exotics from this dlc alone, and this does not account for duplicates and needing to collect every old armor piece with the new perc system. No Xur, no 3 of Coin...bungie, fix this first

2 RisposteNot having new guns to play with does not make Destiny better. The whole point of Xur and 3 of Coins is to get the fun stuff into the hands of players who were screwed by RNG. Now players who are screwed by RNG stay screwed by RNG.

They did a whole trailer hyping up the new exotics. Not much good if ya can’t get any of them. Random rolls is nowhere near as interesting to me as exotics and creating a build around them for a different playing experience. I’m not saying I want them to throw them at me, but after 60+ hours and none of the new exotics dropping, it’s getting to feel a bit of a pointless slog, because most of the “new” loot is reskins and old D1 stuff. That’s not exciting

1 RispondiThe rarity would be fine if Xur still sold the Fated engram, but no it only drops year 1 items now and I have those. I can deal with dups, or I can deal with rare drops but not Both. The rarity plus the drop rate has ensured I have seen no new exotics even after completing all the milestones, bounties, running match after match in crucible and Gambit and running strake after strike with a fire team medallions on. You know what I got that Whole time? -blam!-ing one exotic a dupe from year one. SO great for you. You beat the odds and rolled a new one, but for the rest of us, we haven't seen Jack. The only reason you think it is "great" that the drops are so low is so you can have your OP bow for longer. SO no the drop rate should not stay this low or if it does FIX THE -blam!-ING DUPS!

I haven’t gotten any of the new exotics. I kind of like it. They are rare again but...I don’t know there are just so few. I definitely look forward to Xur again. Old spaghetti face had better have something new next week.

3 RisposteAgree, they should be rare! Love it, love that they went back to more complex RPG style vs. the dumbed down version that was the first part of D2! Very, very happy with pretty much all of this expansion and hope to see this in the coming content too!

2 RisposteModificato da anthrax99: 9/10/2018 6:58:48 PMi agree. ive kinda hated the way d2 was making exotics drop like candy on halloween till now, it took away the specialness of them. i have not received any yet but that fact doesnt make me angry or entitled, the exact opposite actually, its only making me look forward even MORE to my first exotic drop. it reminds of the early days of d1. i knew exotics existed, and i got a peak at them the first couple of weeks xur started selling them, but i had not many strange coins at the time because i was still grinding. i wanted one so bad they had such a mystique about them because they were so rare but so cool looking with unique perks. the week xur was selling light beyond nemesis i was so pumped to get it and have my very first exotic. i grinded like crazy to get the last few coins i needed and bought it and couldnt be more thrilled. i think my first ever exotic drop in the wild was thunderlord and that was an amazing feeling too. got mida later from nightfall, did the thorn quest and got that which i loved, then towards the end of year 1 i got a ghorn drop and the vex mythoclast. all of those were such rare drops and that just made them so much more memorable. i hope i can get that same feeling again with forsaken.

1 Rispondiyes. I got my first (Forsaken) exotic yesterday, doing a strike milestone. It was the void trace rifle. They should stay this rare. Flooding the market with them like they did a year ago just makes them less special

I got a total of maybe 3-4 Exotic drops. One was Two-Tailed Fox, the rest have been duplicates, unfortunately.
