I use Nameless midnight and Galliard-42 . I hold my own some matches and get taken by shotguns other matches. I just surprised I don't see the Galliard-42 used more often. I think it's one of the best guns in the game.

If it's going back to D1 type of PvP, that's a good thing. I think Year 3 Destiny 1 had it right, for the most part. These guys that want generic gear, that's all the same, are in the wrong freaking game.

To me PvP feels sexier Han ever before but the shotguns tho. What Bungie could do for that is when someone have a primary, it can stagger a shotgun warrior which would require the shotgun warrior to be sexier with its shots. But in all, PvP feels sexier again but that’s my opinion.

Literally no one asked for primary shotguns. "This is something that the community will definitely hate, add it to the game hur dur"

Also, there is absolute zero skill gap now. There is no skill at all. None. Without skill you can’t have a skill gap. What you have is a system that encourages camping and rewards scrubs for being scrubs. No skill gap at all any more.

It's laggy as all hell right now and takes forever to load. There's definitely issues besides the ones already stated

First of all, as was said many times before the upadate, these players have the right to voice their opinions just the same as you do. Second, the changes did not solely impact pvp. These changes, for all the whining about noobs and graviton, have actually made things far more noob friendly. Anyone can get a kill with a shotty or the new "noob tube" Telesto. And being rewards for literally running into a person? That's the measure of skill nowadays? Look, I dabble in pvp. I'll never be great at it. I'll never rack up a 50 kill game or solo clutch a 1v6. What I can do... rather, used to be able to do... was work as part of a fireteam, even one filled with randoms, and strategically take control of a map/game. Yeah, laning with a lance sucked. I hated it, but it was people like you that not only made it necessary but also effective. Now it's just scattered. People running off in every direction to make some stupid attempt at a highlight clip or camping a corner with a shotty. And shooting the knees out of anyone that dares to walk past. Skill isn't born of reaction time and instant kill weapons. Skill comes into play in choosing your battlefield and executing a gameplan properly. Skill is shown by people that could get kills with weapons like Coldheart where you had to maintain continual targeting, not a hipfire shotgunning or lobbing grenade launcher shots through choke points without ever having to put yourself at risk. But, whatever. People want pvp how they want it. I can take or leave it. The problem is the changes these new loadouts cause PvE. I liked having a kinetic and an energy weapon. I liked running a handcannon and a scout and a shotgun, or mixing and matching as I saw fit. I do not like hamstringing myself in DPS by not having a weapon that uses special ammo. Primary ammo weapons are now next to useless. I hate having to spend my heavy slot on an exotic or a rocket. The terrible truth about this "use what you want to use" is that it is far more limiting than it ever was in Seasons 1-3. I was excited for Forsaken long before we even knew it's name. This patch has me 2nd guessing my pre-order.
