Bump if they should bring rift back
Rift was awesome in d1, especially back dunkin the rift

If they make it so no one can ever go their enemies spawn to camp kills while no one has the spark, I'd be okay with it. It sucked the fun out of the game mode to find people spawn camping when no one had the spark. So, adding to my suggestion you can only enter the enemies spawn if someone on your team has the spark and you have somewhere around 10-15 seconds to get out when your spark runner gets killed or succeeds in the dunk on the enemy rift.

Crota Sword, Iron Axe, Siva Ball from Raid, Shield from VoG, Spire of Stars orb (pass to teammates), etc. dunno, I've just been thinking about for a while now and thought it would be cool. just like combined arms but relics

I actually really enjoyed rift whether I was solo que'd or in a fire team. I imagine that's probably an unpopular opinion though.

What? Rift was one of the most complained about gamemodes in D1. It is hands down a team game where you will lose and lose bad if you go in solo. Everyone is complaining about team shooting and how unfair it is for solos or small fireteams to go up against stacked teams and you want to bring rift back? GTFO! It's fun if you go in with friends but cancer if you go in solo or with 1 buddy.

It needs to be changed. No weapons, melees do 2x damage, spark can be pick up after fumble, ability to throw/cetch/intercept the spark.... Idk.

There were so many complaints about rift during it's time in D1 that they pulled it, now it's upvoted 177 to bring it back. I don't know if the times have changed, people are forgetting how they really felt about it, or what. I'm not against anyone's opinion, I'm just curious why there was such a shift.

Bungie’s version of a “new pvp game mode”: THE GAME MODE IS “EXTERMINATION” - we took the clash game mode and tweaked it so slightly that you won’t even notice that it’s not clash! 2 teams will have to kill each other until the timer runs out or one team hits the score limit! BUT WAIT, there is a TWIST! The respawn timers are now ONE SECOND LONGER! It’s a new edgy take on A BRAND NEW CRUCIBLE GAME MODE! No one has ever done anything this off the wall before! It’s going to revolutionize pvp in the gaming industry! Coming 2019!!!
