I was playing heroic strikes today and it made me realise how weak our abilities and guns are. Grenades are actually useless they dont do anything, most of the roaming supers dont last very long and dont do a lot of damage so they are also kinda shit, and now guns it takes 3 -blam!-ing shots in heroic strikes to kill a low tier enemy with a handcannon thats like 1/3 of my mag I dont remember ads being this tanky back in D1. It takes 2 headshots to kill a psion while a cabal slug rifle kills guardians in two shots and guardians are supposed to be very powerful one man army beings.
Edit 1: some people are missing the point, yes I know what midifiers are and I was running the correct setup, I am just saying in general how our kinetic and energy weapons are extremely weak and so are the abilities and supers
Edit 2: Damn this post exploded tnks guys

1 RispondiModificato da iiiiKIZERiiii: 7/10/2018 8:33:10 PMI was helping out a Buddy yesterday. He was running Heroic Strikes and he didn't have any of the DLC's so I let him Run the Fireteam and I tagged along. Holly !@#$@#%@ I felt like a level 2 getting constantly 1 shot by things. I nearly raged and told him "Your on your own man". Whats the use of Being a 385 when you can constantly get one shotted standing on the ground by nearly everything?
-
I felt like Grenades are pretty weak in general. Bungie needs to turn up the damage a bit. Especially in PvP. I feel so powerful in D1 and I like that. Just saying out there.
-
I feel squishy as a Hunter
-
Depends what you class as weak, melting a raid boss in seconds isn't weak. D2 is slowly getting there with weapons like tractor, where buffs and debugger can be applied to enemies and be killed quickly with the right setups and classes.
-
You're weak because you're using stormcaller, a full auto sidearm, and the slowest RoF auto rifle and a tracking rocket and then you take that ideal setup into EP because you paid for the game!
obvious sarcasm
-
Pvp crybabies
-
1 RispondiTo fill a lack of meaningful content the devs decided to make heroic strikes as tedious an unrewarding as possible. Loves heroics in D1, now I despise them.
-
54 RisposteWeak in pve because everything got nerfed in pvp. Thank the pvp community
-
It really -blam!-ing sucks man, 270 nightfalls -blam!-s equally as it if were prestige. Just wanted a simple run but whatever.
-
2 RisposteBecause Bungie took feedback from pvp then went waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over the top with it
-
1 RispondiBecause Bungo took a PvE game and tried to balance it around the PvP element. The result was a very watered down PvE experience with none of the power fantasy that was expected based on 3 years of D1...and an abysmally bad PvP experience that has turned many PvPers away from Destiny 2. So an utter fail in other words, unless Bungo's goal was to annoy both PvE and PvP players, in which case, GG!

14 RisposteModificato da TheArtist: 7/10/2018 6:33:27 PMWhy? Because weakening us----so that they could make PvE "more challenging", and make PvP play more like Halo---was the ENTIRE DESIGN ethic behind Destiny 2. Power-fantasy and power-progression got shit on..... ...and the entire game got "re-branded" as basically an over-engineered campaign shooter. The game is just still trying to recover from these design mis-steps.

11 RisposteThat’s why I play Warframe. A much better developer that cares for their community and a game that actually feel rewarding
-
-
Small tipp for tasting god powers
play Warframe
-
The funniest thing is my hunter can survive a lot longer than my titan and warlock. I got good setups and I’m 385 on all. Makes no dang sense!
-
385 and I don’t feel any difference when I was 305 BS
-
2 RisposteI'm 385 and got one Shotted load of shit
-
2 RisposteYou wanna feel weak? Hop on your speeder with grounded active !!!!
-
I think it’s because destiny 1 was made for pve and pvp was an after afterthought. For d2, bungie tried to centre it around pvp so much that it cannibalized both aspects of the game. But ultimately the first impression is still a placebo, i.e., even with all the buffs, our guardians will still appear inferior in our brain.
-
Yes, everything is weak in PvE, especially guardian melee, even charged. Ignoring this issue for so long is extremely incompetent & unprofessional.
-
4 RisposteCuz they had the genius idea of linking pve to pvp so our characters have to be balanced for pvp first and foremost. Which is why exotics are complete shit now, they never were able to balance the more powerful ones in pvp without just nerfing the hell out of them. So now they come pre-nerfed. Destiny pvp is really what's killing Destiny pve. Bungie can't handle both so they default to pvp and let pve go to waste until the next major DLC. Just look at the hotfixes and updates in between DLC's. You'll find the vast majority are aimed at fixing some pvp problem. Hell in D1 the Crota raid was completely broken for 2 years because Bungie couldn't be bothered to do anything other than balance pvp.
-
13 RisposteBecause its attached to PVP. You should try Warframe.
-
1 RispondiCuz bungie doesn’t know how to make games anymore
-
32 RisposteBlame the PvPussies crying nerf for 4 years.....
-
Bc bungie built destiny 2 for pvp also Luke smith is an asshole
