Since everyone else gets a month, we all should get one.

1 RispondiIt'd be just looking back over all the basic stuff you learned in history. Kinda boring IMO.

5 RisposteThat's racist

2 RisposteI don't need a month to feel prideful. I feel pride every day I walk this Earth. What do ya think I am? An unmelted snowflake?
-
Naahhhh! But you know what would be more interesting than all the pride months? Things like Mutant Ninja Pride month or Extinct Apex Predator month or the Grimm Have Feelings Too Society! Oh, I know! Sharks Who Hate Humans!
-
7 RisposteNo. Not because I think us unworthy, or because it's "offensive." None of that. No, I think the "Pride" months should be done away with in their entirety. What is there to be proud of in having done nothing, but being one colour or another? In liking one sex, or another? These things lie beyond your or my control, and being proud of them is as absurd as being proud that you have brown eyes. No one has done anything to earn these months. Being born isn't some commendable feat on anyone's part. These months are merely hallmark holidays which goad the gullible and guilty into sensations of mass delusion. A development of a persecution complex, on the part of the celebrated bearers of the arbitrary trait of the month. What's worse is these months aren't even for the people they're meant to appreciate, rather, it is for the venal and detestable, self congratulating, moral masturbators to do what it is they do best; to pat themselves on the back for how progressive they are. Of course, there are those who will state "but they're the victims, the oppressed! Oh the humanity, what else may be done." But I say to you, not so, my dear friend. For when were the victims, and oppressed ever given government sanctioned holidays, while the oppressors were not?
-
Honestly I think it should be the opposite. Why the hell do we meed a month for a specific race/gender? Just make it a "humans are great" month.
-
2 RisposteWhat's the symbol for it going to be burning crosses and nooses.
-
*bites hook*
Sure. I mean, it's racist if you have a pride month for one race and not for another, right? Imagine if it was flipped.
-
1 RispondiAh but you see, any western or white pride is immediately racist because that totally makes sense.
-
4 RisposteWhy don't we just get rid of all these stupid "race pride" months and replace them all with a "human pride" celebration? Why can't people just be proud that they're alive? I mean seriously, what's soooooooo great about being white? Or black? Or asian? Nothing. People always identify who they truly are by their skin color. And this is why humanity is divided amongst itself. Society has sunk so deep in this racial contest of who's better than who that we all forget the ONLY way to identify or judge someone: BY THEIR ACTIONS. Not skin color. Actions. This is why I hate these "white pride" or "black pride" months. It gives people a false sense of superiority over others and really causes harm to this once great nation.
-
It's only fair. Either everyone gets a month or nobody does. That's the definition of "equality," people.
-
A pride month for any race is stupid. If you need 30 days to reflect on the accomplishment of your race, in a way that shows that you can't recognize such accomplishments everyday/when you want. White People have done a lot of good things and we can recognize that whenever we want. Pride months belittle a race because it kind of says "NOTICE US!!" and it looks like they're just wanting attention.
-
2 RisposteI am proud of myself 24/7. A pride month is irrelevant.
-
1 RispondiIsn’t that every month
-
This is the dumbest thing. As is all the other "insert skin color here" months. We're one people of one race and the sooner people realize this the better.

in the year 3079 there will be 27 letters to describe the LGBTQIA community. It seems everyone wants to be unique and the same at the same time.
