People need to stop and think before they get mad about paid dlc and microtransactions. The developers/publishers are people with jobs and they need their paycheck just as much as you do. Now I understand that people will argue that they go overboard with it but are they really? Games have been $60msrp for the past 30 years despite inflation, roller coaster of an economy and not to mention the advancement of gaming technology that developers have to account for.
Along with that the players keep wanting more and more content for the same price or even free. And the free content we do get like in game events and updates that add content gets quickly dismissed at the thought of microtransactions and paid dlc.
This is all why we receive “unfinished” games with the rest locked behind dlc. Games are more advanced and difficult to produce than they’ve ever been. Yet players want just as much if not more content at the same frequency that they’ve been getting for the last 3 decades all for the same price.
Seems to me that the players might be a bit greedy. Change my mind🤔

The main priority people need is to not let kids rinse their credit cards for stupid shit. That way developers would focus less on that.
