Come on this would be such a cool addition and it would add a new grind and a new reason to play PVE. There would be a weapon like the claymore and special rewards involved as well cause not of us like the crucible so if you do it for the crucible why not do it for PVE.
Edit: look I know there’s strike scoring and emblems and other stuff like that but something more concrete like this that you can brag about and grind for cool titles and cosmetics that everyone will see cause the rank of godslayer would be pretty cool wouldn’t you think?

Titles would be neat. The ones that basically every mmo has
-
Don't know if anyone does this anymore, but bump
-
I guess you forgot how easy PvE is outside Prestige Nightfall and Prestige Leviathan. A valor system would be pointless; almost everyone would get the rewards. It’s not like you’re shooting anything in PvE that has reasoning and intelligence. Everything is scaled so it’s not like it’d matter.

Sounds good

Modificato da FdYAcsoyPKN83gLE: 5/2/2018 3:37:17 AMMaybe? 🤔 That is a good idea.

This! Srsly

They had something similar in Destiny 1, it was the Vanguard Rank. It was omitted from Destiny 2 and essentially replaced with the ranking systems for different vendors. However it would be nice to see something more compelling make a return. Nightfall scoring is a thing now, why not apply scoring to other activities and apply that score to increase your "Vanguard Rank"? Obviously end game activities and individual performance should earn you more points and fill the meter up more quickly. If they provided enough different PvE sources for filling the "Vanguard Rank" and provide daily/weekly bonuses for adopting a more omnivore style of play, that might make a compelling analog to the Valor and Glory ranks...

1 RispondiHow about fixing the night fall drop rate where you can be running the nightfall 20 times in a row and not get anything but you get a new guy in and he gets the drop his first run with you not having run it before then. The more you run the nightfall should also increase drop rates.

All you will get is 2 tokens and a blue!!

I hate bragging. We need nothing more that allows hollow individuals to assert their ego on the masses, because it is irritating.
-
-
BUMP, it's funny the elite players have nothing to say about this.
-
2 RisposteWe do, it's called raid gear/prestige raid gear
-
8 RispostePretty sure they said you will now level up each vendor using your tokens and the higher your level becomes,]the more stuff you unlock (unique or not, I don't know). Not exactly the same but very similar
-
We have prestige raid that should provide pve end game reward ( a new vex mythloclast would be awesome - before the pvp nerf got to it) sadly the raid is trash the raid lair is even worse so not many want to do them and prestige gives cosmetic stuff because bungie thinks that’s what we want 😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭😭
-
For what reason?
-
The clan system should do it. "Number of raids, strikes, enemies killed overall, number of players guided, nightfalls completed, etc." Each could have their own ranking system where players could compete to be the top clan. I can't think of any particular reward besides maybe some...exposure by bungie or something...

I'm down for PvE struggles.
-
I just don't see it working well in practice. What is the ranking based on? Nightfalls in their own little bubble have scoring. What about raids, are we going to start scoring those too? Public Events? Patrols? There are just too many elements to consider and weigh fairly without giving people the ability to fluff them up. If the prestige raid had a Vex Mythoclast type weapon, that would be the PvE reward. They just watered down this crap so much that we're here talking about alternatives. Solo introvert? Yep me too, just look me up on DestinyTracker if you don't believe I usually like to just sign in and play alone. But I suffer through LFG sites and clan raids because I understand the top tier gear of a multiplayer game comes from multiplayer activities. At least they did until Destiny 2.

6 RisposteModificato da Tehnka: 4/30/2018 9:26:15 AMSoo, i'm on both sides on this one. All i'm going to say is, Why not add both into the game? That's more content in general, why just leave it to one side only? PvP-ers get a ranking system with whatever rewards they want to it (PvP people are happy in this case) PvE-ers get this ranking system with whatever rewards they want too (PvE people are happy too) People who play both are happy in general since there's more content being put into the game :D Tis all needed to be said with no arguments at all lol Edit: A player can be either one or both btw, so no need to hate ;)

2 RisposteWe need the PvE experience that was advertised in 2013. Without the PvP cancer ruining it.
-
1 RispondiCry me a river.
-
I can understand where you are coming from and I agree, however I believe this should be thought over and considered after the Warmind DLC comes out because you never know. They may have added a ton of PvE content already but just haven't revealed it all.
-
1 RispondiI'd be totally fine if they gave a similar progression type reward for the Quickplay ranking (valor or glory I forget which is which) Keep the Claymore in ranked, but say if you reach max in Quickplay you also get something. Not as good, but a "hey, ya did it" type prize gun. I see Quickplay rank as the average Joe's who just wanna shoot face and chill and competitive rank for the teeth gritting hardcore.

It’s hard to make content (Bungie with every pve activity)
