Please Stop Celebrating The Return of Old Weapons
The vault is gone.... We paid for a new game. I'd love to see new weapons. My first exotic in D2 was hard light. Extremely disappointing given the fact it was a new game.

1 RispondiThe problem here is that just destroying the place where guardians keep their toys doesn't remove the existence of the weapon from the universe. Oh no... you blew up my house, taking my AR-15 and Ruger 22/45 with it. Oh no... those weapons now no longer exist in this universe, I can no longer get them. Sounds pretty stupid, doesn't it? Obviously, I just go get a new AR-15 and Ruger 22/45. The problem is execution. The old weapons, instead of being free inclusions that get routinely added back into Destiny 2, are being sold back to us as new content. This is what's NOT okay.

1 RispondiI don't mind old exotics coming back. it just annoys me when they're behind paywalls. Bring back some cool exotic quests in between expansions for us to get some of the old ones maybe? (The last Word plz).

They already have the templates and Concepts intact and it's probably more efficient to reuse some of those old weapons. It would probably take more time and resources to start from scratch so I really don't see the problem with it. We have a short-term memory? Halo had a lot of the same guns and the same enemies throughout the entire series. At a certain point I think we're actually expecting too much. Yeah no more exploiting or throttling or underhanded tactics with the community, but the flip side of that is that this community has a lot of entitled members in it the need to chill out. I like to rag on Bungie too just to keep them on their toes but I have to say I'm actually very happy that my favorite weapon is coming back. When I first started playing Destiny I thought I was getting on the ground floor of a 10-year plan so the fact that I'm getting some of this back actually makes me feel better. I don't know my two cents

The vaults are gone but no one said the exotics we may or may not have had are gone.

How much effort did the put into this new DLC? So the old money they made from people buying the game pass isn’t their priority because they already have it. M. Their priority is new money (business103) that is why all the streamers were invited to headquarters. (Free marketing) The dlc is going to suck but bungie wants new $ this all the hype right now. We have all been here before only the gullible will get had again . Don’t fall for the hype train bungie is trying to create remember we are their customers and we are always right! #-blam!-bungie

Including bringing back our favorite exotics. And there is nothing wrong with that. They have also introduced alot of great new exotics like Colony, Merciless, Vigilance Wing, Sunshot, Sweet Business and the list goes on. I want them to bring up Ice Breaker and Bad Juju also, maybe tie them to a challenging quest Some people just complain just for the sake of complaining. I am glad Bungie is starting to tune those people out

2 RisposteThis post is proof that it will be IMPOSSIBLE to make everyone happy. I've seen plenty of people feeling oppositely. But alas, I often forget that EVERYONE here is an [i]expert[/i] on video game development and knows how to meet the needs of ALL players simultaneously.

If they had enough new exotics in D2 to keep players,fans happy,and introduced more new ones into the game,they wouldn’t have to put back ANY exotics from D1,and no one would care about old ones.it’s just lazy.this seems to be the route they are going,are they running out of ideas for the Destiny franchise?,if so,how much re hashed content will D3 have?.

They should have lost the giant 2, called it something else like "The coming war". If they kept D1 as the stock destiny and kept adding taken king size dlcs annually alongside smaller ones like C.o.O and warmind we wouldn't see this community complaint about old content popping up. And it should pop up. People have every right to point out the fact that bungie tried to do a sequel when the grand plan of taking your guardian on a 10 year journey gets reset every 3 years. If it had continuity then old content would just be first year gear. But with that being said, the ability to add lore tabs, vault space, ever increasing light/levels, upgrading year 1 gear and weapons all are probably easier being chopped up as separate games. If they didn't have to scrap things so often and then try to complete work by a deadline then maybe we would actually have the game now they invisioned then?

I like old gears, but i think would be more fair if they bring them during live events, not in new paid expansion. For example, crimson days, drop us 6 old exotic gears, christmas event, another 10 or so. But in new DLC, where you're asking me money... well, do your work and bring me all new stuff!!!
