Crimson Days begins in Destiny 2 on Tuesday, February 13. At the heart of the weeklong event is a 2v2 Crucible playlist intended to get your blood pumping as you and a friend test your bonds to the breaking point. This celebration of teamwork will last one week!

The combat scenario is 2v2 Clash with a round-based twist. We will also be debuting The Burnout, a new take on The Burning Shrine set in a future timeline where the Vex have succeeded in altering our reality.

The sun is darkened and the only Light to be found comes from you and your partner fighting as one. Stay in close proximity to your partner and your abilities recharge at a faster rate. Stray too far, and your enemies will be given a waypoint leading to your location. If you can’t find a partner, don’t worry. We’ll play matchmaker and find one for you.

The Rewards
The best way to earn rewards during Crimson Days is to compete in the Crimson Days Crucible playlist, and we’ve tuned the experience to focus on rewarding single-character play. Most rewards are found within a new Crimson Engram, with all contents on a “knock-out” list, preventing you from receiving duplicate items until you’ve earned all of the new gear.
No matter which activity you play in Destiny 2 during Crimson Days, every player will receive both an Illuminated Engram and a Crimson Engram when they level up. Crimson Engrams are only earnable through gameplay, and are not capped or limited during the event. To qualify, you need only to reach the level cap for your Guardian (that’s 25 if you’ve acquired Expansion 1; 20 if you haven’t).

There are also five new rewards found exclusively for players who complete the following:
• Complete the milestone “Welcome to Crimson Days” by finishing five Crimson Days matches and visiting Lord Shaxx in the Tower to earn the Fire of the Crimson Days Emblem and the Tirastrella Ghost Shell.
• Complete matches in the Crimson Days Crucible playlist for a chance to earn the Undeterred Exotic Sparrow.
• Complete either the Leviathan Raid or the Raid Lair: Eater of Worlds to claim the Dieselpunk Exotic Ornament for Wardcliff Coil from the final chest.
• Complete the Nightfall Strike during the Crimson Days event to earn the Flaunting Dance Emote.
Crimson Engrams will only be earnable through gameplay, but if you’re looking to directly purchase a specific item, Tess will also offer a selection of the Crimson Engram contents in exchange for the Bright Dust you are holding. Gear purchased with Bright Dust will also count towards the “knock-out” list mechanic described above, preventing duplicate items unless you have already earned all the rewards.
Every reward item obtained from a Crimson Engram can also be dismantled for Bright Dust, including event-specific shaders.
Crimson Days will begin next Tuesday, February 13, and conclude on the weekly reset at 9 AM PST on Tuesday, February 20. If you’ve yet to find a dance partner, now is the time. We’ll see you in the arena.

7 RisposteModificato da ULiano_III: 2/9/2018 12:19:04 AMHeres an Exotic you could’ve made for this event : Broken Heart : It is a Crossbow Looking Fusion Rifle. However, it fires fast rate of Bolts that upon hitting the target, slows them down. Think a Fusion Rifle that fires like a Scout Rifle, the damage would be worked to be in line but a little more powerful but not OP. Could even remove ADS and just make Hip-fire. The depression or “Void” attacks their Heart, thus Breaking it. When killed by this weapon the enemy explodes with the Burden it has been carrying (Void Explosion) leading to an AoE effect that stays for 4 seconds on affected enemies around. Similar Damage to Graviton Lance explosion. This effect is called Heart Attack Teammates of the Broken Heart wielder are given stacks of Adrenaline per how many enemies were effected, Max of 5. Adrenaline increases Reload Speed, ADS and Movement speed for those 4 seconds. Heart Attack has a 5 second Cooldown, so to not be over powered and constant. So, Procs, and cooldown starts after the 4 seconds. Now, originally I was going to say it to be an original weapon. Like Sweet Business. To actually shoot Arrows. Make a Kinetic Weapon that hits like a Scout Rifle. But Fusion Sniper Rifle Arctype would better suit this weapon. Thoughts??

Glad you guys are going more towards quest type rewards and less RNG this time.
-
Need more incentive for winning crimson matches Right now there is no difference between winning and losing
-
I love crimson days I still remember one of my best moment from it but ugh I want it to be a PvE event not PvP.
-
DMG04, I just want to say thank you for bringing back our Burning Shrine (modded) Crucible map. If you all could keep that up and maybe pick up the pace a bit, it would be greatly appreciated. Those D1 maps were great and we sorely need more variety in D2 PvP maps.
-
Really... Come on bungie... Could have at least gave us some new event armor.. or is the winter event the only one you know how to make armor for... All crimson days is 2v2 crucible. The reward aren't worth it... I mean it's a crucible based event.... Should have aleast given us some new weapon for the event

1 RispondiModificato da Johnny 2794: 2/12/2018 7:18:00 AMBring back special weapons Bring back 6v6 and big maps Bring back perks for armor Bring back intellect and discipline Remove mods and masterworks Remove tokens Trials 3v3 elimination and rumble Exotics and legendary should be hard to obtain like it was in d1 Better looking gear Bring back bounties Give us back the old supers or make new ones Buff titans and warlocks they are to slow Make grenades powerful like d1 No more reskins
-
Btw, I hope you guys let use keep the Burning Shrine map after the event. Nothing wrong at all with having more maps.
-
More cosmetic rewards? bad for solo player. Fix the system instead bungie, like PVP or hunter OP jump for example. Add some raid mode and maps is better imo..
-
1 RispondiHaving to stick together would be an interesting twist if the current state of PVP didn’t already exist.
-
3 RisposteMore PVP built upon a crap system. Focus on fixing the core and stop with the casual participation trophy BS!! Your numbers are trash because the core game is trash. Nobody is coming back for this kinda crap. Better yet, scrap D2 and add it to D1 as an expansion because that's what it should have been from the start, it's NOT a sequel to D1, not even close. Doing this kinda crap is only killing hope that this game will ever be fixed.
-
How the mighty have fallen. There’s a saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. And look what you’ve done. What a shame.

37 RisposteYes yes people EverVerse is opening it's doors again this February 13th so get your credit card and $$$$$$$$$$$ ready. For the low price of 30 buckaroonies will bet you the complete armor set and yes i did say $30. What's wrong ladies and gentleman does the cats have your tongue. I can tell all of you are at a lost for words and i can't blame you. Isn't that a great bargain. SO remember on the 13th of Feb to get your dance partner(your credit card or $$$$$) and buy lots and lots of silver :D. Well be looking forward to reading your comments which i know will be positive like always since we are the best gaming community. Remember Don't be jerks, and be good to each other. Luke Smith out. PS: It's only a matter of time before i get banned*shrugs shoulders*. Toodles!!!

Still not going to play. I really do not like grinding for cosmetic fluff. I'll play if d2 becomes interesting ever again.
-
Explain to me why every special event gear is not avaliable in the game. That's right, you want us to buy the gear, put in our pathetic size of a vault, and then replace it with the next event. If the event is fun, then I'm cool with it. Wait, no, are you freaking kidding me! More crappy PvP! This is not CS GO, Doom, TF2, or even Overwatch. Destiny PvP is novel attempt that fall flat due to following. No dedicated servers. Rubber banding and teleporting due to low grade net code...... Why do waste my time here. They listen to us just like nursing home employees listening to the elderly. All that matters is their paychecks, mediocre work, and dealing with whining grown children. Back to No Man's Sky! At least I can fly my ship.

3 RisposteModificato da Go ahead ban me: 2/9/2018 3:43:27 PMSorry but im enjoying watching the numbers decline bungie. Yes, im sticking around to watch it. Yes, i made it to the farm. Yes, im posting something negative. I expect to be ninja’d. Then to have your lead designer tell us not to be jerks..... classic. Your greed, arrogance and flat out being jerks is astounding. A big F you!!🖕🏻🖕🏻

8 Risposte"Stay in close proximity to your partner and your abilities recharge at a faster rate. Stray too far, and your enemies will be given a waypoint leading to your location." So your still trying to push team shooting... you really want your game played a certain way....
