9 RisposteRemember when D2 dropped and if we bought pop tarts we would get 2x xp? Remember when bungie was caught throttling xp? So was there really any point of buying the pop tarts when bungie was throttling xp? I feel cheated

I'll still be picking a rocket launcher over a sniper though. Still only one person on my team can get heavy ammo. So I'm still stuck with 2 primaries.....??

1 RispondiModificato da blade329: 2/2/2018 3:25:09 PM
Our goals for this round are to provide individual players with more hero moments by increasing overall speed and mobility, increasing the amount of supers you charge to demolish your enemies, and increasing the frequency and impact of our most montage worthy power weapons, especially in the Crucible.
This definitely raised my eyebrow. I think you guys are on the right path. Let us be powerful, like we were in Destiny 1. PvP balance is not the way to go in a loot based space magic game. Sure, you need some, or else it becomes The Division Dark Zone (earlier version). I think you need to go back to Destiny 1 Year 3 balance levels. It felt great to be a guardian then. I'll be watching with more interest now.

I appreciate the update schedule and the more open atmosphere, but honestly the magnitude of the changes incoming just isn't enough to get me excited about the game again. I want to go on a raid and chase down a Mythoclast or even a cruddy pre-adjustment Nechrochasm. I want armor that gives major improvements like carrying more ammo (or even directly relates to your level, with the way everything is set up now forever 29 wouldn't be an issue this time around). I want to feel like I can get something truly better than what I already have. Chasing down new ornaments to play dress up is OK, but it isn't phenomenal. The sparrows are instantly useless because of the 150 speed, still need Eververse for the top tier. The ships are just resprays of existing ships with a couple ornaments thrown on. The ghosts are better at Eververse as well. The way you've changed the game so far is basically putting lipstick on a pig. It's still the same non-so-good game that it was before, just with some QoL changes. Where's the real feeling of progression, that picking up a gun that is a tier higher than what you had and you can instantly tell when you shoot something? Where's the improved armor? Progression in D2 = get max level during the campaign and then grind your LL to max. It has nothing at all to do with the gear itself. Even leveling itself does nothing. We have the same trees with the same abilities we did 5 levels ago. It's all grinding for nothing more than the sake of grinding. Let me guess, DLC 2 will be 360/365 light level just because. Everyone has their own opinion on what is missing from D2, mine is progression. It's a looter/shooter where the loot doesn't matter and everyone gets a trophy and everything is special so nothing is special.

So we have to wait three more months before we get another DLC update we get Crimson days coming up yippee if it's anything like what we've had so far don't bother so you need to fill in time between Crimson days and the release of a DLC that's not looking good

Should enable mods/perks to exotics that allow you to equip another/ dual exotics. Can stack x3? BRING THE POWER BACK!!

1 RispondiModificato da Sturm with no Drang: 2/2/2018 6:16:43 AMdmg04, I simply have to ask. When do you think we can expect ui improvements to the Destiny 2/Bungie Companion App? I know we shouldn’t be expecting any immediate changes, but surely there must be some word of it. Even though the grumbling has died down over time, there is still the issue that folks still seek for a better design and cleaner access throughout the app. Is there anything regarding this that has been addressed yet?

6 RisposteThis is a step in the right direction AGAIN, this is PERFECT . speed is good to have and the reduction has made the game feel sluggish, and now with master work armor, you can have full mobility masterwork with dashes of recovery and armor weather its mods or through armor nodes, actually i may just do mobility and armor on my warlock now, My titan is getting her strafe jump back and striker is getting buffed YES, dune marcher time. as for arc strider OH BABY DID this class need a face lift, stompies gonna KILL IT WITH ARCSTRIDER NOW. but what gets me excited the most is the hand cannon, pulse rifle buff, CAN WE GET A THREE TAP BACK, i mean i havent been able to rock a hand cannon in the LONGEST OF TIME in pvp, i used to have a nice one on my friends account ( i leveled up the warlock on his d1 account and now i may just go pick up d1 for shits and giggles) but basically i loved hand cannons in crucible and in pve however when it came to d2 they fell out of favor, i wanted to rock a scout and hand cannon, but none really could stand out in the energy slot to pair with my better devils, the best i could go with was the conspirator, but now thanks to iron banner ........ frostmires hex is where its at . a full auto scout with high cal? BUNGIE YOU CHEEKY BASTARDS I LOVE IT, sure its no uriels gift or null calamity but if you get close up to a mida with that gun, they are gone . Keep it up bungie and well done
-
Thanks for the update.. *yawn*.. In the meantime, Can you bring Mayhem back??? It was the only cool thing about D2 because it felt like playing D1 regular crucible.
-
3 RisposteI've reviewed the response posts with some sadness and disbelief. Not a word about the coming increases in mobility. Not a word about the vast increase in available power ammo. Not a word about faster Supers and grenades. I'd like to state my opinion of this bunch, but since we're only allowed to insult Bungie here, you'd probably sic a ninja on me if I did. If these people got the game they deserve, it would be a port of the 1982 E.T. Atari 2600 game. Personally, I see several very large steps in the right direction here. Still some work to be done, of course.

I have to ask, but why do we have to wait until March for a increase in super generation? You've demonstrated that ability cooldowns are easily adjusted, you did it for mayhem crucible and you do it every few weeks for the Pyramidion nightfall. So why not adjust it now and give your remaining players something to improve the experience while they wait for the rest of the sandbox changes to be implemented?

Modificato da GakMan: 2/2/2018 1:52:53 PMgood stuff! Can't wait to stop feeling like a turtle when running and I am looking forward to seeing how much quicker my supers and grenades recharge!

4 RisposteLike the depth of the update but mainly what I saw was PVP this, PVP that .... 🤢

1 RispondiSniperrrr

This was a great TWAB in my opinion! Faster! More SPEED!!!
-
I am happy to hear you are making us faster, thankyou. If you really want to put the icing on the cake can my Hunter get it's blink back? Also, do you think you could reduce the cooldown of shadestep? Don't worry about the Titan noobs, just make us Hunters OP. Ty.
-
Finally my 9 mobility hunter will be able to have a good advantage!
-
3 RisposteIf they dont change the time to kill and the weapon system pvp will still be boring
-
You guys realise that all this work wouldn’t have had to be done if you just made D2 and expansion of D1...
-
Thanks 4 all ur hard work u guys r doing an amazing job and as long as u keep it up Destiny will take the #1 game spot again
-
Add Sparrow race tracks with ramps and the winner rewards are shaders
-
Increase drop rate for master works in Heroic Strikes and have 100% drop rate on Prestige mode.
-
Good on paper and a move in the right direction. I quit D1 because I tired of the maps and not enough people were playing it anymore. If D2 can not draw people enough people back, none of the changes will matter. Also, while it's great that D2 is becoming more like D1, it needs to supercede D1 in some regards. We need a new class for people to get excited about and a few chasers put into the game (great exotics). Again kudos that there are drastic changes and essentialy an admittance that you completely misjudged what the playerbase wanted. Time will tell if you are rewarded for the changed by a return of players or if it is too late.

Modificato da Senor Crouch: 2/2/2018 7:02:46 AMI heard a lot of PvP, PvP, and...PvP in this week's TWAB. Only thing I got out of it was Supers recharging faster. One step closer to catching Destiny 1. GG, Bungie. The information you provided was good communication, but nothing that really interested me. I mean it is about f-ing time you guys started doing. No pat on the back from me though, I am still extremely frustrated that we are in this mess to begin with (oh and prepare to hear that a lot...cause until the day we have finally caught up with Destiny 1 I am going to continue to drill that into my feedback). You guys messed up, and messed up big..."we're listening" my ass. But hey, least now you have no choice but to listen. I won't drill you for not covering stuff I want to hear about, but hopefully some time soon we hear a little more about Warlocks, PvE, Vault Space, D1 Shader system, fun perks and mods, Primary/Secondary/Heavy, and more customization options. I will say, good stuff this week for my PvP counterparts. I am sure they are just as eager as us PvE guys to know how their faction of the game will finally catch up with Destiny 1. At this rate maybe, just maybe one day 3 years from now your sequel will finally be on par with your previous game. We shall see.

I’m excited for the movement increases. Depending on how they settle out, this will likely drive a further need for reducing TTKs with primary weapons. I’m unsure about the power ammo increase. I like that power ammo bricks drop from defeated enemies. The problem is that power weapons have an appreciable disparity in functionality and effectiveness almost as if all power weapons don’t group well into the same weapon category... 6v6 is also a huge plus. Increasing recharge rates is a plus. Don’t forget about upping damage on those tickle bombs. Just a little bit more to get back to D1’s style. When it does, I’ll stop avoiding crucible like the plague and possibly enjoy it again. Just to be clear though, PvE brings me in and is by far my preference for overall design choices. PvP helps keep me around by giving me something else to do. I appreciate the effort towards fixing pvp but there is an issue with lackluster gear and an over emphasis on balance that primarily ruins PvE but also makes pvp less interesting. And give us back our support supers! I like the specials but they should be supplemental not replacements.
