Why would I pick a sniper over a rocket launcher that can kill multiple guardians with one rocket? [b][u]SNIPERS ARE NOT POWER WEAPONS[/u][/b]. Just put them in the energy slot. Give Destiny to Blizzard.

My wife and I played the hell out of Destiny and all the dlc. My Titan alone had over 1600 hours on him and enjoyed every minute of it. So I bought 2 copies of Destiny 2 and the season pass at launch so we could continue to game together and we couldn't have possibly been more disappointed with what we got. To find out that content we paid for is attached to the paid eververse store and they stuck an arbitrary time gate on it to try and force people to pay for content they already paid for when they bought the game. ( you shouldn't have to pay just for the opportunity to pay for more) On top of that the story was short and very lackluster and Bungie somehow managed to remove any real replayability from the game. ( I shouldn't say somehow we all know how) So much so that the clan I joined in D1 has pretty much entirely quit playing. Of almost 200 people on my friends list nearly all were met on Destiny and now no one is on any Destiny game. After all the B.S. in getting the first Destiny to where it was awesome they threw away all of it on a shameless cash grab. I saw there was an update for D2 and I needed to delete something to download it and I couldn't think of a single thing on my system that should go to make room for it . ( I've been playing Bungie games since the first Halo which really should have taught me how much they over-promise and under-deliver) TLDR; due to poor management and an increasingly predatory nature we will no longer be purchasing any products associated with Bungie or Activision. Edit: and the list of upcoming updates is a joke, we can't even see a reason to try the content we already paid for again until after may. and don't even get me started on the even worse seasonal events if Bungie was anymore predatory they would be on the sex offender registry as a pedophile.

I like seeing the penalty for quitting crucible matches, they need to implement one for strikes also. So many people leave strikes the second we land. There isnt a strike in this game that is so hard or time consuming that justifies leaving. Unlike Rockets McDickface D1 Year 1.

They still need to separate PvP and PVE. Give PVE back it’s feeling of power let us have snipers and shotguns in the secondary slot to bake strikes

Topic: DESTINY LORE Picking up on the idea from "My name is Byf" regarding the lore Archive: I like the complete idea but I have another suggestion on how to really integrate it in the game. Don't put the lore tabs in the charcter menu. Instead create a real physical destination which is an archive. I am thinking of a place like the Ishtar Collective/Archive on Venus for example. A real destination that you can choose on the map. A large library kind of space where you can then access everything that Byf suggested on different terminals within this archive. Add some meditative music or sounds in the background and nice lighting with candles etc. The archive could be a kind of social space for guardians and could also include a cryptarch and a postmaster for example. So a real live archive within the Destiny universe would be the ultimate in-game integration of lore for me. What dou you think? Is this a realistic idea to be realized? Thanks for your feedback! I appreciate the inclusion of the new Ghost Shell from the raid, and that’s the kind of content that should be expanded upon. For example, each of the planets should have an exotic class item or shell that drops when you turn in a huge amount of faction level ups so people feel like they have something to work towards in each environment, not just on Mercury with the Sagira shell with god awful prophecy grinds. I remember the buzz around the Faction Exotic in D1, you should recapture that and expand it.

Love those concrete delivery dates for fixes. 😒 You know you’re bleeding players, how hard is it to set a firm deadline and hit it? I design trade show booths, I know when E3 opens, it’s a deadline. I know I have to have my overall design work done 4 months out, and any last minute changes 2.5 months out. Why can’t you just say the “go faster” update patch will be ready in 3 weeks? If the team doesn’t hit it, apologize to the community and get a new team. We can still do complex things quickly in this country, I don’t think you push yourselves enough to fix your own broken game.
