Instead of building on what they had up to year 3 of Destiny they decided to reboot the game and after backlash are now backtracking and trying to make things as close to D1 as possible. Why didn’t they just make this a huge expansion and built on what they already had? It is like they are reselling us a reskinned version of Vanilla Destiny. All the perks we already had access to they are trying to get this shell of a game back to where they already worked up to. They say it’s too expensive or they are tired of making content for this game? Why “fix” something that wasn’t broken. If they sold D2 as a major expansion to D1, I would have been cool with that. But greed took over and they called it Destiny 2 to try and sucker more people into buying a “sequel” that is really a rebooted Destiny 1. They are trying to slowly give us features we already had access to in D1 and stretching it out overtime to keep interest? What happened to the Planets and locations we already visited and unlocked from D1? Do they just not exist and we were never there? If they couldn’t fit all the planets on one map all they had to do was put it inside the Leviathan. If the Leviathan is the “Eater of Worlds” you can say that it engulfed those previous planets so if you highlight the Leviathan you would be able to see those past planets minus the Cosmodrome obviously because that is on Earth, but even that is nowhere to be found. EDZ? European Dead Zone? The Cosmodrome was in old Russia and Russia is not that far from the rest of Europe so why cant we go there? They are reselling us Destiny 1, I mean they promised a new game yet we are getting exotics we already owned in D1? THE COMMUNITY IS NOT DUMB, WE CAN SEE THROUGH YOUR GREEDY SCHEMES. Edit: For the slow ones who can’t comprehend: Imagine building a house from the ground up, you build the perfect house you wanted but instead of IMPROVING THE HOUSE BY ADDING LAYERS, NEW FLOORS AND ROOMS, you destroy that house and rebuild it the SAME EXACT WAY you had it with no REAL CHANGES. It’s the same house you already had but you just took a step back instead of forward with REAL PROGRESS because you already had it, but you’d rather WASTE TIME, MONEY AND RESOURCES JUST TO BUILD THE SAME EXACT THING YOU ALREADY HAD. Yeah it’s hard to make new content if you keep rebuilding from the ground up instead of making NEW IMPROVEMENTS. If you can’t comprehend that, then Bungie is having their way with you and doing exactly what they intended. They could have made Destiny 2 a better game without having to sacrifice it’s identity, the very fabric that made Destiny 1 successful in the first place. All they had to do was pick up where they left off with Destiny 1 and continue to build off of it without losing it’s identity. I love the Destiny franchise but it’s a slap in the face to all that play this game when the “sequel” has less features than the original Destiny. All these “changes” should have been standard from launch. So every time they release a new title it will be bare bones and will take 3 years each time to get it up to par with the previous game? Oh what? Destiny 3 is already under development? No way! Destiny 2 is such a success, why would they do that? Hmmm....How's the "new" Faction Rallies by the way? Anyone get any sweet "NEW" loot and weapons? You know the ones promised to drop everytime a new season arrives? No, armor ornaments does not mean "new" armor just because it changes the looks of it.
