So, people want to go back to D1 Crucible?
So you want to go back to one person wiping a whole team with one gun? You want to go back to 3 shot hand cannons? You want to go back to people having better RANDOM rolls and outgunning you? You want to go back to Fusion and Lightning Grenades? You want to go back to people getting good rewards when they were at the bottom of the leaderboards? You want to go back to one shot shoulder charge which had a possibility to one shot supers if you had Peregrine Greaves? You want to go back to the range of Thunderstrike? You want to go back to wombo combo? You want to go back to hundreds of forum posts talking about nerfing one weapon? You want to go back to getting nerfs on the stupidest things like NLB? Yeah -blam!-ing right. Stop using D1 Crucible as a magical savior for D2 Crucible.
P.S. the only thing from D1 Crucible I would bring to D2 Crucible is the modes and the number of people in a game. (3v3, 6v6, and Rumble)

They do because it gave them more scenarios for easy kills. Which leads to winning. Which leads to fun and feeling awesome. They don’t care if it was broken if they could utilize it to their advantage over others. People don’t like more balance because then it’s harder to have fun because they have to learn and be smarter. They like being overpowered if possible or near OP. This is all nothing new and common to several titles.

You either like chaos (more people, op weapons, faster gameplay, plain fun, etc.) or you like a more conservative approach to the game (team shooting, every weapon is kinda on the same playing field, a little slower, simplistic, etc.). I feel each has pros and cons but I think PvP should be fun and entertaining and make u feel powerful in this game with faster cooldowns and building YOUR OWN DAM SKILL TREE for your character so i like D1 crucible more. But i can live with this D2 crucible.

I like the random rolls. At least it makes you feel somewhat special for having a better roll. Lightning grenades weren't bad, they really weren't hard to avoid. one shot grenades can stay in D1. The reason for being a warlock was for the longer range melee. D1 Crucible had its fun and challenging mechanics. Although some, yes, I'm glad they are gone. But crucible now is just plain boring. There's no excitement or challenge to it. It's all about team shooting now. Sure you can 1 v 1 fine enough but 1 v 2, the 2 will almost always win. A nice fusion between D1 and D2 crucible would be the best

Hell yes, D2 purposefully focuses on teamshooting, this to quote one of the devs when they were talking to crucible radio I think was to put less pressure on players to land thier shots, which is ridiculous, d2 destroys all forms of individual skill, in d2 if your shot was good enough you could kill several people with a primary, can't do that here unless they're totally distracted by something else. That's what people miss, the feeling of strong primaries, of great plays. D2 you're with heavy = total slaughter of defenseless players. Lol this guy likes the hand hold meta. One guy wiping the whole team. Yeah that was possible which made the game fun. However, if you got good you could kill that person before he killed your whole 6 man team...

It definitely wasn’t perfect but it sure as hell was more fun than D2’s version of the crucible. Most of that stuff you mentioned was what made some of us play as long as we did. You know, an actual reason to continue playing.

Seriously man? D2 was supposed to be balanced making a better PvP and e-sport ready, instead they ruined PvP and PvE at the same time by doing it. D2 crucible is stale AF, even more now that the MIDA meta is gone, at least you could feel like you were dong something right with that gun...

Went back today and I go back every 4 or 5 weeks for one reason only - to play Combined Arms. I prefer using DMR/Scouts in FPS games, but D2 PvP lends itself to twin auto rifles. In CA on D1 I can use my Dis-43 (no, I don't snipe). After the CA week is over its back to D2...

18 RisposteI’m with you on this totally. There are lots of players who currently enjoy D2 crucible and are happy with the balance. I hated those one shot weapons in D1. I hate to be rude or harsh, but the reality is that people like all those one shot easy kill weapons because it allows bad players to stand up to the good players. Remember one shot kill snipers? Two tap Thorn? The Last Word with a 0.5 second ttk? All of these things allowed bad players to be good. And feel POWERFUL when in reality they really are not that good at shooters. I still remember back when special ammo got nerfed by removing it off spawn, and some of my friends did not know how to play anymore lol. They were so used to laying back with a sniper that they didn’t know how to use a primary weapon. Now Destiny 2 comes along and most guardians are on an even playing field. Gunskill and teamwork really matters. Trials is extremely sweaty now because all the bad players cant hide behind their crutch weapons from D1. Because of this, the casuals left and mostly the sweaty remain. I don’t think D2 crucible is in the best place. I think they need to reduce the ability cooldowns a bit and definitely introduce more playlists, but ultimately they are in the right direction (for me.) For those players who want to feel powerful, create a mayhem playlist for them or something along those lines.

YES. I still play D1 PvP and run the NF every week. Stopped playing D2 months ago. Unfortunately I pre-ordered the expansion pass, but only played half the DLC campaign before shelving the D2 garbage once again and going back to D1. Static rolls suck! Masterworks slot is garbage. D2 is made for casuals so let them carry this dead franchise since Bungie has run off the "hobbyist" players.
