30 engram limit for faction rally is crap. Anyone agree?
First rally I went with Dead Orbit and hit the limit and never got a full armour set. Am missing the chest and legs but got all the guns. This rally I went with New Monarchy and got all the armour except the arms and hit the cap already. Also got the new scout and hand cannon but no new sniper. What I did get was a bunch of multiple helmets, cloaks and boots and guns and even guns and armour that has nothing to do with the faction. Bungie needs to get rid of the limit because rng sucks so bad that you aren't guaranteed to get a full set and they also need to take out non faction rewards.

5 RisposteDude if you hit the cap already you're probably doing the token exploit, and that means you're the exact reason that cap exists in the first place People are forgetting the Faction Rally isn't just a loot-fest, it's a competition. In competitions there have to be rules that restrict exploits

30 engram limit shouldn't be surprising. We have exp cooldowns & chest cooldowns, so it seems in line with whether it gives players an incentive to care less even.

Would you ever really wear a full legendary set though? I get the whole (borderline obsessive or autistic?) thing about [b]needing[/b] to have a full set or whatever. But in practice would you ever sacrifice the benefits of exotic armor in activities (especially endgame activities)? I know my hunter looks dope af w/ the full NM set (minus boots) and the exotic stompy boots... plus the stompy boots are mobile armor (like the legendary NM boots) and have an exotic perk that increases sprint speed n stuff as well. I was going for a “fast” armor set, and I got all the ingredients for the fastest in the game. I agree less dupes should be a thing, but theres not enough stuff to do that so...

Yes. Because Bungie is PvP focused. PvE Event, Loot Limit. PvP Event no Limit to engrams.

The fact is, if Bungie had put as much time into creating end game systems & content as they do in creating systems designed to deliberately thwart progress, we would actually have a fairly robust game and I'm guessing a lot fewer avoidable complaints...

That sucks man with my Titan I got the three new monarchy pieces I still need and all the pieces again for another complete set only opening like 25 packages. RNG must hate you. I also opened like 12 packages on my warlock and got whole set. Opened 3 on my hunter and already got 2 different armor pieces already. You just need to start praying to RNGesus more.

i choose NM for both faction rallies in hops of completing the armor set as i was only missing the arms from the first rally, i would say i opened at least 15-20 packages this rally ( and hit the max 30 in the previous rally) and i have gotten pretty much every thing at least twice with exception to the gloves, which have yet to drop for me....

Here's a idea how about instead of geting tokens for a chance to get gear u just get lets say 100 for a chest peace and 100 for arms and so on or more or less just a idea

(No handcannon, but I got the sidearm about 8-9 times) Got DO to rank 23 and got 1 chest, 2 boots and 1 class item. (Got Auto, smg and new scout within first 15 packages) Won't be able to grind FWC until the weekend. :/ Armor drops are poo.

Just missing the cover for me in one character, and missing the arm in another, I'm really very sad about it, to almost delete everything because it really is not fun to have a set missing parts, bungie could review it there, so sad with that

They removed the system from Destiny 1 that had Factions around permanently and where you could purchase the specific items for Legendary Marks for ZERO reason. If I turned in tokens and received 30 engrams, You'd think I could get a full set of armor, but if I don't that's fine and dandy, but at least let me buy the damn helmet I wanted. Legitimately the only rewards I wanted from the faction rally and It's gone for me unless I play through the entire campaign again on another titan character. This RNG system is absolute horseshit

Modificato da pyrocyborg: 11/8/2017 4:38:05 PMMaxed New Monarchy yesterday : Got 4 different guns at least 4 times each (but none of the two Scout Rifles I wanted to try), 4 armor pieces several times and a bunch of useless standard engram gear, here again, several times. Got a useless exotic too (Hard Light, which I already got 3-4 times in the last two weeks ;) ). They really need to get rid of the RNG side when it comes to faction tokens. We should be able to buy whatever we want, even if it's at a higher price. Or at least, offer us some kind of choice (between 3 or 4) when we turn our tokens. The exact same thing happens on Io : Turned about 1200 tokens, and never got that Helmet... but I've got the Titan mark and Tarantula 10 times each!
