I used to love Destiny, but then - through a gradual process - it became too hard (for this old dude anyway). Instead of being clever, fun and challenging it has become impossible to the point where even at 277 no one will let me do the raid because 'even at 300 it's too hard'.
We just wasted 4 hours trying to get the nightfall done - one 280, one 290 and one 300. For a 240 level strike? The enemies are unkillable, the boss is invisible most of the time, seems to regenerate his health and, when you do get killed you respawn in an area that will immediately kill you again.
Stop focusing on making it harder to do and make it fun again. The early raids were great fun and quite doable.

2 RisposteI used to hate the raid because I tbought it was too difficult, then I beat it. Now I absolutely love it because my team figured it out and we actually like a challenge, and not getting stuff handed to us. Get good.
-
I think you just need to find a competent raid team. The raid is fun imo. The nightfall can feel free to go away tho
-
i dont think they could make the nf any easier other than just hand you the loot.
-
its your defeatist attitude not the game, snap out of it and go show that raid boss the meaning of pain!
-
2 RisposteNo thanks , the game is alreay far too easy , don't want it again more easyer because a few people can't play correctly .
-
4 RisposteHave you attempted getting good?
-
I understand the complaints for the nightfall; it's not easy. The time adds a weird feeling to the nightfall of urgency but if you rush you'll die more. On the other hand, I really like this raid. I have lots of fun. I only dislike 2 parts to this raid and that's gauntlet and having to teach people different parts of the raid or different strategies.
-
2 RisposteSo now in video games , content should be made for people who can't coordinate and can't play correctly ? What a bright future for video games .//

One thing I miss about destiny 1 nightfalls are the burns. You can build your character around that one burn. This forces you to try every subclass and gun combinations to utilize the burn. I would be happy if they had one elemental burn that cycles on and off every 30 secs.

2 RisposteNF is hilariously easy. Raid is more stressful than difficult. Bungie had 3 years to figure shit out, but here we are.
-
Both raid and nightfall are stupid easy if you communicate.... I.e. What bungo wanted for d2. They really should be harder.
-
1 RispondiYou can thank streamers/youtubers who need to feel elite to their audience.

Part of the reason it's so difficult right now is because of how new it is. People are just starting to get the layout of the raid, and as such are wanting higher level teams so that they don't waste their their time. There are plenty of groups that are fine with helping you through, though. I did the raid for the first time ever last night. We beat pleasure gardens our first try, took about 3 tries on the Gauntlet, and beat Baths our first try. We didn't get Calus done though, mainly because it was late and we were all tired.

“It’s to hard” Git Gud Skrub
seriously tho get gud. This is the only time that the phrase is appropriate.
Sounds like a L2P problem. This week's nightfall isn't impossible, the challenge is just overblown by the streamers who lie to get views on clickbaity videos. Sure, it's hard, but that's how prestige is SUPPOSED to be. A level 280 shouldn't just go in and be able to do it easily.
-
23 RisposteThe thing you have to realize when you come across those people is that they're idiots. After 280 it doesn't matter if you're 281 or 305 in the raid. You get scaled down to 280 because that's the maximum recommended raid power level. In the nightfall, as long as you're 240-250 you should be able to do that no problem too, further power levels really don't assist you in any way. It amazes me how people forget how the old raids and strikes in destiny 1 never got stupid easy just because you became completely over leveled for them. Everything in this game scales you to it's challenge level

Modificato da onearmman23: 9/24/2017 7:42:37 PMYou need to slow down on this weeks nightfall if it's too hard. Stay off sparrows, walk through and get every anomaly along the way. Make sure you bring a good scout rifle to take care of pikes and thin out the enemies from far away, it will also help reach anomalies from far away. You should be above a 15 min timer in the first field before leaving, and make sure you have someone in the circle at all times for the hacking part or it doesn't progress. For the last boss, good swords are your best friend. Merciless doesn't have enough time to really key up and do work. One guy clearing adds with wardcliff doesn't hurt either. Call out the servitor and focus fire on him, when you see him as well. if he makes it to the boss he shields him and eats a lot of time Good luck guardian.

Have you tried guided games for NF?
-
I'm curious what your hold up was on the NF. I ran it 3 times, 2 as a seeker and 1 as a guide using guided games and had absolutely no problems. Lowest remaining time was 4 mins. Highest was 8.
-
The raid isn't that hard, pools are easy, dogs can be buggy, don't get me started on the trash that is takeshi's castle!! That gauntlet does not belong anywhere near a 'raid' and the boss fight is decent with good comms. Nightfalls are a let down but not too taxing, again communication is key. Try get a regular bunch of guys to play with and you'll be fine

Google up the cheese for time
-
Raid is only "hard" because of the communication required between all 6 people. I would get a constant fireteam. I love the raid everyone has a job if you can't perform its usually a wipe. I'll admit it is buggy and had cost me a few wipes but big deal.

2 RisposteModificato da redbarron0609: 9/24/2017 7:02:47 PMUse guided games for the nightfall. Soon the guided raid will be out and you should be able to find a clan that won't require that light/power level.
-
They aren't hard unless the team can't coordinate.
