I used to love Destiny, but then - through a gradual process - it became too hard (for this old dude anyway). Instead of being clever, fun and challenging it has become impossible to the point where even at 277 no one will let me do the raid because 'even at 300 it's too hard'.
We just wasted 4 hours trying to get the nightfall done - one 280, one 290 and one 300. For a 240 level strike? The enemies are unkillable, the boss is invisible most of the time, seems to regenerate his health and, when you do get killed you respawn in an area that will immediately kill you again.
Stop focusing on making it harder to do and make it fun again. The early raids were great fun and quite doable.

Modificato da Elden Lord Archon: 9/25/2017 12:07:56 AMNightfalls are supposed to be challenging. Either accept defeat, or keep practicing. The story campaign is already so easy that a person with brain damage could get it done. We need more hard activities in this game, not less. Destiny isn't designed so everyone can beat everything. When I reach max light and have played through all of the content, I'm going to attempt to solo the nightfalls.
-
3 RisposteDude I did the nightfall in 15 with a random lfg group with no mics. If you're nog good enough to complete an activity....too bad
-
1 RispondiNightfall wasn't hard, exodus black is just annoying as f*ck.
-
Nightfall on Normal is not difficult, did it on my third try with a friend and a random. However, the only thing making us fail is the timer, which can get annoying.
-
1 RispondiI found this weeks NF really easy. Only the snipers will kill you quickly and nothing takes that long to kill. The time isn't a problem if you just bother too look around when the game tells you an anomaly is near, then shoot it. You can even cheese it by being a Dawnblade Warlock and use the lower skill tree. Jump, hold button to gain HP an the healing right completely nullifies the not being able to heal. Compared to other NFs this was a walk in the park.
-
1 RispondiI don't understand saying that the NF is too hard. I SUCK at this game, and never did this particular strike before yesterday. And I completed the NF on two characters, each at 270 light, with random players I picked up from the recruitment forums, in one shot each. Just no -- it was not too hard this week.
-
4 Risposte4hrs lmao good lord... How long does it take for you to take a leak?!?!? Nightfall was cake once you learned to mechanics. I failed once then went back and finished all three with over 7+ mins left each toon.
-
4 RisposteNightfall have to agree ! But raid ... if you’re team is averagely smart and communicating it’s easy , really easy and fun ... Not gonna lie Destiny raids were amazing but I can’t really complain about this one , if so just the fact you can only use the tokens if you beat the raid ...
-
The nightfall is annoying, sure. However, 'unkillable' enemies? No.
-
The nightfall is suppose to be difficult as well as the raid. However with good teamwork, communication and plan, both the raid and nightfall are more than easy to deal with and conquer. Saying the raid is hard even at 300 is pure imagination and bs lol I've passed the raid easily with lower lift levels as well as 300 level players. It's about working together as a team. If you don't have a team who works together then you're going to fail no matter what your light level.
-
Don't forget the first run though of VoG took 2 days. Tbh the raid is hard but not that hard. The nightfall I will admit is a lot harder than last year but I think that's better than D1 nightfall when it was basically a strike u walked through
-
The raid I had the most fun with was VoG. Never was able to participate in the other raids due to elitism and not being able to find anybody. I've said before, D2 isn't as fun since they're so much restrictions. Nightfall has a timer, must have everyone alive in the raid or it's a wipe, anti-farming lock, no vendors to buy from (Would prefer vendors I that require ONLY glimmer), etc.
-
5 RispostePersonally I like the Raid. I like that it requires all members on the team to be in the mix and on-point with their job. Now the nightfall is another story. I do not like the timer, I'd rather go back to Wipe= orbit and get rid of the timer. I did 2 nightfalls since the game came out, one successfully and one fail. I didn't have a single moment of fun in either run and after the second one I just said that's it, I'm out. I don't even bother and won't until they get rid of the timer. If enough people just start boycotting it and not going near it, they will have to change it. No sense in having something in game if only a few are using it.
-
What a stupid thought, raid is madly easy and nightfall is as well as long as you know where the time extensions are so might wanna rethink that bud
-
My first raid completion was at 275 The raid is a challenging activity, so as a Internet troll might have said 2 years ago, but not anymore because it's an outdated saying. git gud
-
2 Risposte
The raid is hard
Well now I've heard it all. This raid is the easiest raid bungie has ever released.
-
I would say so far the nightfall is easier than in D1. Played D1 at launch and didn't complete a nightfall or raid till a month of playing. So far in D2 ive completed the nightfall and about half of the raid. I understand the fustrastion you get when you play for a while and don't get anything, but from personal experience I would say they are easier not harder. D1 had team wipe reset, and you had to have the right gear to even destroy the shields of enemies.

6 RisposteRaid is to much jumping through hoop shit and not enough firefight

This week's was a PITA! I almost said forget it and decided since I have nothing else to do to try one more time. Hit up LFG asked for no mics but just a modest light level because let's face it due to the timer you need to be over leveled on this one. We were successful and it felt good to beat that SOB. The raid I went in at 270 and realized I needed a little more light. Since I finished my milestones that week already I said I'll grind out next week and get my light level up. I am about 288 and can't find anything not asking for emblems, experience or 295+. From what I've played of the raid prior I was not particularly impressed and I am not spending an hour to find a group who will take someone willing to learn and then spend the next few hours in the raid. I don't have time like that. I'll admit I used to lie about XP and if I got kicked I at least had the CP. Too much work to get back to where you were now so in regard to the raid I'll complete it once everyone is overleveled with the next expansion and I'll only do it for the achievement. Other than that it's lack luster gear and gameplay.
-
If the most challenging content in the game is too hard for you, get good. That's all there is too it. This prestige nightfall can be annoying, but the raid is just a matter of execution. Get better at the game.
-
If your struggling on the NF, I’m happy to help you out, it’s easy once you familiarise yourself with the new effects and learn where the Anoms are. Add me if you want, I’m normally on around 8PM AEST
-
1 RispondiThe best strategy for Nightfall is to run all Warlocks with Dawnblade. Health low? Pop a rift, or drop down from the sky and regenerate a third of your HP.
-
1 RispondiThe risk runner is a game changer in the nightfall, swords on the boss. I've found this week the toughest or most annoying anyway, still done it x3. Even though there's a timer you don't need to rush, there's more than enough anomalies to do it
-
have you tried, not dying? I hear it makes things easier. but for real, it is pretty depressing.

3 RisposteModificato da EARWAK3R: 9/24/2017 8:09:27 PMBrother, this game isnt hard. The nightfalls arent hard, nor the raid. You absolutely can beat them, i know you can. You just need the right team, and to make some plans, and communicate well on mic. Its 90% communication, and 10% gun skill. The nightfalls and raid are supposed to be the games toughest tests. What would be the poibt to gearing up to play the toughest content if we could beat it first try? Its clearly designed for us to team up, and talk things though. Get a few wipes under our belt until we learn from our mistakes. Then we conquer it. And theres a rewarding feeling to be had. In the raid, The first time going in blind wasnt easy at all. Pretty damn tough id say, But once its learned with your team that first time, over long hours, it is then very very easy on subsequent playthroughs. I'd put it as the second easiest raid after crota. Its just that first few hours when its new, After that its easy street. Same goes for nightfall. Its like anything, its hard until we learn. Think about how hard things are the first time, learning to drive, learning to play guitar, or learning a new language, or even just learning to do a good job in your profession. All those things seem challenging at first because weve never done them before. But after practice, all those things become like second nature. The raid and nightfall is no different. Dont give up.
-
2 RisposteI used to hate the raid because I tbought it was too difficult, then I beat it. Now I absolutely love it because my team figured it out and we actually like a challenge, and not getting stuff handed to us. Get good.
