I used to love Destiny, but then - through a gradual process - it became too hard (for this old dude anyway). Instead of being clever, fun and challenging it has become impossible to the point where even at 277 no one will let me do the raid because 'even at 300 it's too hard'.
We just wasted 4 hours trying to get the nightfall done - one 280, one 290 and one 300. For a 240 level strike? The enemies are unkillable, the boss is invisible most of the time, seems to regenerate his health and, when you do get killed you respawn in an area that will immediately kill you again.
Stop focusing on making it harder to do and make it fun again. The early raids were great fun and quite doable.

7 RisposteNot even gonna read it... Nightfall definitely not too hard. Friends and I beat it last week with 7 minutes to spare and I was the highest light at 267

Modificato da l JAPES l: 9/25/2017 4:12:49 AMEnd game activities are supposed to be hard, that's why they are endgame. D1's original NF's booted you to orbit if you wiped, then the whiners complained so much they casualfied it to where you could solo them all because there was no risk anymore. If you are struggling to complete them maybe find a team with more gun skill / coordination or use community resources like guides and walk through strategies to help you. I've completed the NF on the 240 & 300 on all three characters in the past two weeks and while the first time might have been difficult it got easier once we knew our strategy. As for the raid, again endgame rewards should be hard to obtain but as it currently stands the drop rate for raid loot -blam!-ing sucks and isn't worth the time it takes to walk away with one piece of scaled gear maybe two if you are lucky. Calus tokens are useless also when the gear from those isn't scaled to your LL.

Wait for higher light level and guided games. You wait and see.... the normal raid will just be a 6 man strike.
-
3 RisposteA team just did the raid in 24 minutes... that is hard? Or you are bad?
-
The nf skill level is a lie. It should be closer to 260 imo. I'd prefer maybe 270 minimum for my FT. I finished the rat king quest with this NF. A 288, 290, and 287. Also I believe his health does regen if a servitor gets up near him. The raid isn't hard it's just everyone has to do their part. Biggest problems I come across is pride. People with too much pride who think they know exactly what to do(when they clearly don't,) people with too much pride to listen, people with too much pride to say they don't know what to do or that they haven't done it, and people with too much pride to say when they were the ones who messed up. By the 3rd or 4th time it becomes obvious who it is, but instead they shift the blame. It also doesn't help the team when one or two guys are high strung. I get everyone wants to finish the raid at record speed, as do I but I make sure I have more than enough time to stay with a group. If the group isn't progressing that's when I'll leave. No hard feelings on my end. It just has to be progression not perfection, and sometimes you just have to know when to cut your loses.

NF is to hard? The raid is not hard as in it just requires coordination. AKA no getting carried anymore. One person messes up then it's a group wipe. NF I completed it with 5 mins to spare at light level 255. Other two guys in LFG were 260. Week one it was kill enemies get more time. Week 2 and 3 it's simply look for a anamolies. NF prestige this week was a bit tough. We completed it with 20 secs left. That is because that exodus boss in annoying as hell always vanishing when you super. My advice is switch to a fast super like golden gun or nova bomb.
-
Yo, I beat the raid 36time on prestige and I have 3 characters at 310 bitch. It's easy as -blam!-, it needs to be made harder. I have every gun in the game and they are all 310 and your mom even sucks my dick and I'm a god, so worship me. WOOO,IM PUMPED. I DRINK GREEN TEA EVERY GAHDAMN DAY, I GO TO CHURCH EVERY SUNDAY, you gonna bring the demons out in me!!? Nah, -blam!- this nightfall, -blam!- the timers, and -blam!- those fallen snipers.

I've done prestige nightfall on all 3 characters that isn't challenging either.

1 Rispondii haven't completed NF / Raid because i can't get passed the LFG section. :O/

5 RisposteI agree and I want my money back for a full refund of this game. There's too many ass hats with ridiculous raid requests that "must know fight, must have this or that." The raid mechanics in destiny 2 are a -blam!-ing joke, it just isn't really great at all especially the rewards. Tokens.. -blam!-ing tokens to do it over and over again as a big -blam!- you to do it several times. Idc what anyone says over my opinion but bungie has definitely -blam!-ed this up. Also there's no -blam!-ing point about having guided games when there's a -blam!-ing toxic community full of people with no jobs and no life who religiously plays a pile of shit swarmed by flies who eat shit such as this toxic community.
-
I understand your frustration with this week's nightfall, but try to remember that this is the worst strike in the game and other weeks will be easier.
-
Modificato da ElGuapo General: 9/25/2017 12:30:10 AMI agree about nightfalls but raids have always been like that for me. I still enjoy raids when I actually find a chill group to play with.
-
We beat the 240 one with a good amount of time. The prestige one was really annoying to beat though..... It didn't feel to much harder at 300 than 240? Just the time difference.
-
My fire team beat the nightfall with two seconds left on the clock it's not impossible just something?
-
The nightfall is hard? Me an 2 friends did it first try and one of us was under leveled .
-
I love the raid and nightfall I find them fun
-
Uhh me and my two friends did NF 4 times. First time we failed. Second-Fourth time we finished with 7 minutes left. Have one guy get all the anomalies, that's his only job. The other two push forward and focus on the strike. Simple and easy. For the final boss, Unleash EVERYTHING on him as SOON as he appears. And watch for him as he walks invisible around the stage
-
Modificato da IRON RUMBLER: 9/25/2017 12:36:06 AM36% of gamers unlocked this. Thats a very subjective number since there is a glich this week on the Nightfall.

I'll carry you

Bungie had to do something for the hardcore players. NFs with their time limits and a heavily mechanic driven raid are what they came up with. The problem as I see it was that D2 was marketed as a casual game. With the exception of the above mentioned activities D2 is indeed built for the casual player. You don't like these two activities because you're a casual and they both present harder challenges then you're capable of completing. Frustration has set in so it's onto the forum to vent. Are you looking for sympathy from the other noobs and casuals? You'll get none from me.
-
I will say the raid seemed stupidly hard at first but, after beating it twice the first week went back this week and made it to calus with no wipes. I also have a group of friends I raid with I can see it being more harder for LFG groups though. I guess what I'm trying to say is it seems hard at first but after time and practice it gets easier.
-
For the Nightfall, when you spawn after death, you have a window to be able to jump clear.
-
1 RispondiGo play Dark Souls, that game is the easiest game of all time. After that, you can come back and see how "hard" the content actually is.
-
I feel the exact same way. All I really want to do is actually win a match of Trials..
-
This weeks boss is awful for the running away. I lost interest. And my only complaint for the raid is the community. If you say you know what to do, know what to do. If you're saying "sorry my bad" for an hour then just call it quits for now.

Modificato da Elden Lord Archon: 9/25/2017 12:07:56 AMNightfalls are supposed to be challenging. Either accept defeat, or keep practicing. The story campaign is already so easy that a person with brain damage could get it done. We need more hard activities in this game, not less. Destiny isn't designed so everyone can beat everything. When I reach max light and have played through all of the content, I'm going to attempt to solo the nightfalls.
