I used to love Destiny, but then - through a gradual process - it became too hard (for this old dude anyway). Instead of being clever, fun and challenging it has become impossible to the point where even at 277 no one will let me do the raid because 'even at 300 it's too hard'.
We just wasted 4 hours trying to get the nightfall done - one 280, one 290 and one 300. For a 240 level strike? The enemies are unkillable, the boss is invisible most of the time, seems to regenerate his health and, when you do get killed you respawn in an area that will immediately kill you again.
Stop focusing on making it harder to do and make it fun again. The early raids were great fun and quite doable.

Ran nf with a couple of quality pve players and we struggled a lot. Had to change the way we played just for this. If it's what bungie wants then so be it, but a lot of players are just put off by the timer factor. End of D1 timer was great for the extra reward, but early D1 you could solo any nf with a dose of patience.

7 RisposteThe problem is they listen to and focus on the least important minority of gamers. People who don't think a game is worth playing unless they're playing it with a dance pad. With broken ankles. While on fire. And satan is having buttsex with them... Using a pineapple. They need to get over the fact that people who want it hard are not the majority. Hell. Destiny 1 had a raid completion rate of less than 10% until taken king, and the main reason the percentage went up then is because most of the other players had quit by then. You want hard, play in crucible, you'll die a lot there, even if you're good. A challenge, is fine. But being freaking ridiculous about that challenge is just wrong. Some people want a hard game... Well. Will you enjoy your hard game when it's dead by the end of the first year? People simply aren't going to put up with bullshit in destiny 2 as long as they did with destiny 1. We've seen that they don't change their ways and the best way to express our selves is to just quit. This game could easily be at the end of three months where Destiny was at the end of three years. While some of you may be okay with that, Bungie can't afford to be. They need to embrace a more inclusive gameplay style. That's all there is to it.
-
2 RisposteThe 240 level NF is not hard. If your team had those light levels and still could not do it in 4 hours, you were doing something VERY wrong.

I have noticed that a lot more enemies in D2 are just bullet sponges. Even lesser red bar enemies in nightfall have stupid health making it far more easy to be one shot by snipers or blown up by sploder shanks and electrified goblins before you can get them down and focus a boss. I admit I absolutely hate the timed content. Would prefer to be able to explore and take some time in nightfalls and leave the timed crap to certain quests or an exotic. The fact that it is in EVERY nightfall is just bs.

Modificato da Jibunnokage: 9/25/2017 3:35:37 AMMy entire clan has written off the night falls... we busted the night fall the first week, got most of the clan playing, but no one said they loved it. The next week, 2nd week, most of the clan got Rat King, since that night fall was a bit different, but the glitching time gates really pissed off a lot of us. This week, the 3rd week, the night fall, frankly is so frustrating, everyone in the clan even our best players that can do the night fall as it is in D2, have said the rewards are so poor, they are skipping the night fall. This seems to be typical of many other clans I have asked, the general view of those I asked, is that the night fall timer sucks. In a word, sucks.

i gave up on the raid after 4 times im done with it, Its not even fun, its annoying, I just want to beat it once and thats it

Modificato da xTGMx INF3RNO: 9/25/2017 11:12:51 AMI completely disagree, I feel the opposite, i think it's not hard enough and we need harder activities. The raid once done once is way to easy (It's a puzzle, one you know it you it's easy), nightfall's are just normal strikes with random modifiers, i've done this weeks nightfall about 20 times been helping people with guided games for the oathkeeper score. We need heroic strikes and harder normal nightfall's.

51 RisposteAll these, "It was easy" comments. What a joke. It's not easy at all. Neither is the raid.
-
It's not hard. It's annoying. They have added mechanics that make it really annoying to do. Making it hard would actually be a better option. Having a boss run away after damage is not a challenge. Being slowed and having to unload a whole mag into an enemy isn't hard. It's annoying and dull.

2 RisposteThere is a glitch you can do to get extra time so that by the time you’re at the boss you have almost 15 minutes
-
6 RisposteWith the term "hard" being subjective, I would say that the D2 raid is the easiest raid in the entire Destiny saga. There aren't any hard bosses, you aren't going to be sweating and yelling as you desperately try to hit that last damage part whilst you jump around avoiding adds and completing the mechanics. This raid is hard though because of the retarded mechanics. 1 person dies? WIPE. Slight mistake of mechanic? WIPE. Knee during the anthem? WIPE. (but you deserve that one) There isn't anyway to clutch, thus making the raid very long and tedious if you don't execute it flawlessly. TL;DR less sweaty shooty-shooty, more casual jumpy-jumpy.
-
2 Rispostenightfall is endgame, raid is endgame, not supposed to be easy. Enemies are easily killed in both, light level doesnt matter as long as you're over 270-280 for raid, and 240 for nightfall. What matters after that is what weapons you use, and their damage.
-
" stop making me work for the loot that levels me up GOD SAKE BUNGIE WHAT OTHER GAME MAKES YOU WORK FOR GEAR "
-
Not sure where you were struggling. The regular nightfall was simple enough, the only problem with prestige was the fact that the activity was broken so hit and miss if you could actually progress.
-
You just need to find the right people for the right job my friend. This weeks nightfall is a nightmare though. Took me a while with randoms and 1 attempt with 7 mins spare with clan mates as we know how we all play etc . I've completed the raid once on my day off but seriously the weapons and armor don't actually offer you anything special like they used to. You can still reach max level without the raid.

Modificato da BarretOblivion: 9/25/2017 9:13:46 AMFirst the raid: -Deep breath- ITS A RAID. Raids aren't meant to be completed by the entire player base. They are geared towards the hardcore base as the greatest challenge of the game where everyone in the team has to work together to complete the raid. Now... you complain about how no one will let you do the raid. The main reason is because the final encounter you should be at minimum 280. At 280 you are doing full damage and able to somewhat survive the bosses attacks as well as adds. Small mess ups results in wipes... that's how raids go. You practice and practice until you learn the fight well enough to clear it. The raids aren't for everyone... and to be honest... this raid maybe one of the easiest created... the mechanics are simple but you just have little room for error. You want to see a real raid boss? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nblFhTKs2Zg For the nightfall... yeah I agree this weeks nighfall is a shit show. Not fun... nearly impossible on Prestige and the enemies are way too tanky without Prism or somekind of burn in place. So for the nightfall you absolutely have a point. For the raid... no. I don't want to sound like an arsehole but to be honest... D2 has been inflicted with a syndrome called "catering to the casuals". Notice how many features have been gimped from D1 to D2. Why? Because for the casual playerbase, they left the game early or don't play much in D1 so they never understood the RPG or the grind aspect of the game and complained. This resulted in the enjoyment for the hardcore audience that play this game almost everyday... that love the series to be punished now. There is a point where catering to the casual base and ignoring the hardcore active base ruins a series. Bungie is trending those waters.

15+ nightfall completions 5 raids 4 flawless runs Accomplished with 90% of people from lfg Nothing in d2 is "too hard" Its you and the people you play with stop crying

i'm level 303 and haven't finished any raid at all, no nightfall this week either , its unrealistic in D2 for some reason

Behave.

the nightfall and raid are not supposed to be an activity that everyone can do you need earn rewards now its not guaranteed its a challenge and its not that its to hard its that you are not good enough to complete it
-
Dude we finished the nightfall 1st try on both characters with over 6 minutes remaining lol, do you have salad fingers?
-
1 RispondiIf you think this is challenging, just wait until you do the quest strike for the exotic shotgun that you already have...which is odd.
-
1 RispondiI do wish the campaign had a much higher difficulty level you could choose that would give you higher light gear.

The nightfall is easy man. If you're having so much trouble, do milestones till' you're 290 power. It is not hard, trust me. As for the raid, I honestly feel like it's one of the easiest raids. You just need to take your time. You won't always get a godly team. Raids aren't easy. If you don't have the patience to stay and finish the raid, then you shouldn't be doing it.
