5 RisposteIn a perfect world we'd have a combination of both. 4 slots - 2 primary, 1 special, 1 heavy. And to balance it for PvP just make special ammo drops rare like heavy drops. Then we could use the D-pad for selecting weapons rather than emotes. Overall though I don't mind the new system as long as they increase the power ammo drop rate in PvE.

I mean there's no way the game could be entirely reprogrammed at this point so it's just opinion honestly

6 RisposteI HATE the new weapon system too, but it wont matter to Bungie. They are going to do what they want to do. Those of us who don't like it have to decide if the negatives are too much to buy this game. That's all we can do.

Destiny 2 is better. I hate not being able to switch from my primary to a hand cannon in D1. In D2 I can get them all weak then jump in with the hand cannon to finish them off.

I like the D1 system. It has so much going for it, however, I can't help but feel that Bungie needed to do a lot to keep it going. If less updates, good weapons, and different perks were all available the right way (not sure how to do this), I'd be happy.
