Anyone playing the beta thinking it's only a beta and everything will be fixed by the release date.....
Think again. What you get in the beta is what your gonna get on release day. Don't hate me, I'm just giving that warning a lot of us didn't get before destiny 1 came out.
Ok let me clarify abit for these special needs people on here. This is a "W A R N I N G" to basically the noobs who didn't experience the disappointment after destiny was released.
This is not for the geniuses who believe everything they read. ✌

Wait... what you see in the Beta is what you see at release? Where's my Solar Suros? Where's my Void Bad Juju? Where's the extra Subclass slot where you customize a subclass and then lock it?

Devs, especially the sandbox team, are so stubborn. Remember the .04% auto rifle buff? I could lust tons n tons. Until they get a new sandbox team lead, their will be so many mind boggling things that make u say wtf were they thinking. I kinda lost faith.

I think Bungie's reputation is hurting this game. If, in a parallel universe, D2 was built by a another company we might have liked it more... Something to think about for Bungie.

3 RisposteReading the feed back toward your post doesn't make me want to jump in and preorder because the weekly update says they have addressed most of the complaints . After playing the beta I have decided to now wait for the actual game to drop, months to pass and full reviews to come in. I can tell you anything you want to hear as long as I don't ever have to show you proof. In fact , just today , I had to chase a unicorn out of my yard because it keeps eating all of my magic bean trees. -blam!-ing unicorns. If I wasn't worried about Zeus striking me down I would blast that damn unicorn with my shrinking gun. Am I lying ?

Sure as h*** hope so. The have stated that the beta is an older build of what's to come. But knowing what they've done with D1, who the h*** knows.

People are far to quick to believe what a sales person tells them. Sure they very well may have an updated build but there's also every chance we will get a beta like build in September. I'm leaning on the side of caution like you from past experience.

I think it's a little different this time around. The problem with the D2 beta was "wow this is cool and all but there is not much to do and the story makes no sense and the progression seems weird and all those things we saw in the concept and hype videos aren't in here".....oh well it's beta I'm sure it will all be in by next month. Where as this time around it's like hey gunplay and story and stuff seems good but we need more ammo, more damage, and shorter cool downs in pve. Granted, we have not seen patrols and all this stuff that they have said 100% are in the game, but at least there is more to look forward to in the main game outside of the beta. We have not seen them yet so we can't say if they suck or not, but at least with the issues raised in this beta it is not far fetched to believe that cooldowns and ammo could be fixed by launch. Tell me how that is an unreasonable expectation and I'm fanboy. If you didn't like the gunplay or story maybe you just don't like destiny and that's ok. I liked destiny and that's ok too.

2 RisposteRemember the Destiny 1 beta where you locked your subclass choices and got a moderate stat boost? Remember that not being in the final game. Yeah this is nonsense, they'll change a fair bit if it's not working.

It is funny that the convenient argument to players finding the faults they do with this beta is that it is an "old beta" from a few months ago. The decision to buy or not buy this game rests with most players on this beta, not some "promise" of issues already having been fixed or will be fixed before the game launches. I am curious to know then why a patch had not been performed updating to the newer "adjustments". If nothing else, this feels like another rushed attempt to get a game to market. So many features that we re used to or have been "promised" will not be part of this game. Many referred to the original Destiny being a "Beta" for Destiny 2. This beta does not seem to reflect that sentiment.
