Ever since the reveal of Destiny 2 I feel all I see in these forums is whining and petty arguments. For our sake later down the line, can we please be civilised and logical and provide criticism that will help bungie improve the game?
Looking at Destiny 1, many of the changes made by the sandbox team deemed 'terrible' by the community were made because of mounting pressure from the players, resulting in the mess that is PvP now.
We really need to think before we speak and instead of crying nerf first thing, we should first ask ourselves why/how we feel something has to be nerfed or are we just salty over a time where we were bested.
In the end, this will really make everything so much easier. Being clear and transparent with Bungie will hopefully result in smoother, quicker balance changes as well as general community satisfaction.
Feel free to expand upon this below!
Edit: I am fully aware of where I am and the reputation these forums have with regards to logical decisions. I'm just trying to help us help Bungie better the game

4 RisposteSo...nerf fusion rifles?
-
1 RispondiThe people saying "the bnet community sucks" are just as annoying as the "bungie/destiny sucks" crowd.
-
Oh you mean, nerf fusion rifles is no longer a valid post..... Ill call the first nerf that's coming right away during the beta!
nerf sentinel titan
1 RispondiHow can anyone offer constructive criticism towards D2 when D has been left in the gutter for over 12 mnths?
-
2 RisposteOnce again..... logical discussion with 13 year olds? Never gonna happen, I'm sorry to tell you.

As everyone else has said, this is the bungle forum. The beta is really about stress testing the servers under load. Each major activity is represented. Any major bugs found by players is icing on the cake. The beta isn't about players getting full access to the game.
-
You know what it's like here... there will be some (maybe up to half?) that are constructive & thoughtful. Then the rest will be full of bitching. I think the bitching will override the constructive, but we'll see. I'd be willing to bet (even though we have seen them since the D2 teaser), people crying for Nerfs.

2 RispostePeople on the forums be constructive? HAHAHAHAHA you're joking right? People did nothing but bitch after the E3 showing. What makes you think the beta will be any different...
-
In the Bungie Forums? Haha good one m8

10 RisposteLogical, sure. Constructive? That's different. It's hard to constructively criticize something when you know your suggestions are just going to be ignored like they have been the last two years. After being ignored, I'm not sure posting any suggestions on what they could do to change things to make improvements is going to be all that worthwhile, since Bungie seems to just get a gist of what the problem is, and then does their own things regardless of what the players actually want. Its official. Some in my group have decided to at least give the beta a try, so I'll be playing the open beta. I'm sure I'll have a laundry list of criticism for the game. And I plan to make it known what I liked (if anything) and what I didn't like, and just leave it at that. I've been telling them what they could do to improve this game and make it more fun, and the ONLY thing that I've asked for that was actually implemented into the game was the Thriller dance emote. The kicker? I was still on 360 when it came out, and it was only for XBONE/PS4...

1 RispondiIf I may offer an alternative? Could we keep all of the bullshit feedback requests (pre-release nerf herding, server capability issues, and complaints surrounding the lack of content, etc [yes, people will forget this is a beta, after all]) on B.net while the Bungie team focus their attention to where the real feedback will be (reddit). B.net makes a magnificent scapegoat for all of that jazz.

5 RisposteWon't even get to play the beta. I'll be at the Boyscouts National Jamboree. But I'm giving my account to my brother so he can try the beta. RIP first world problems.
-
5 RisposteBETA criticism? Not really anything to criticize. We only get 1 campaign mission, 1 strike and 2 crucible maps that will only be able to be played on 1 game mode each. Wooo ....
-
Hahahahahahah people will never do that

Sometimes when I fart out loud in public I clear my throat, so people might think the fart sound wasn't really from my butt.
