You a Bungie intern or something? I've been asking for new content (i.e. new strikes, missions, etc. that are not already with the base game). Running a map backwards isn't new content. It's red flag to the "we have no new content because we fired what talent we had left so were recycling what you already paid for and calling it 'new content' instead" Bungievision cash-grab excuse.

Sorry, but no one has been begging for recycled content over and over. It's because the end game is always a minimal content grind so people get bored and want more to do. ROI was mostly recycled content and it wasn't worth the price and the player drop off was large and fast this time around. I loved the VoG back in year 1 and I still think it's the best content in the game, but do I want to go back and play a reskinned version after already doing it over 70 times? Hell no.

I love the Vault of Glass, I really do. I have some good memories with my friends. But the time for this to come out, when everything is pretty much confirmed not to carry over, just seems like a waste of time at this point. This honestly should have come out instead of the re-done PoE. I just feel that the Vault of Glass had it's time to be re-released and Bungie blew it.

I don't even know what to call it. They are just giving the players something that shouldn't have to be given in the first place. Personally, i stopped doing those raids for a reason. I have no intention to go back to do them. If this new book doesn't back track from grimoire, i will never complete it.

Bungie has always relied on Nostalgia for success and now it's starting to bite them in the ass. It stunted Halo's growth and now they're trying to basically force nostalgia upon us because they're unable to actually make new content as a studio (or are too afraid to).

17 RisposteI never called it lazy. I think it's about time. The problem is they're about 6-12 months too late and they've also announced nothing will carry forward into D2. They will get back SOME players with the announcement, but so many others have already uninstalled the game just because there is no further point in playing Destiny if our stuff won't carry over.

Seeing how Destiny 2 is near what's the point in adding new content to the first game and say if you have to buy that content too. It would take value from the second game my reasons? Say if you where a developer and your about to come out with say a new game, but at the last minute you add new content to an old game that people have either stop playing or don't care much about playing it you will loose money. So its best to bring back old stuff that was in the game due to the fact there's a lot of new players to destiny that never done the old raids. Of course I could be wrong and for those who say I'm defending whoever I'm only making a valid points. Destiny 2 will using the same Destiny 1 engine but fully upgraded without last gen (PS3,X360) holding it back. Also they could bring back Destiny 1 stuff and upgrade them to say better abilities, I'm manly saying about Exotics.

You have no proof that is all Bungie is doing. True, all they have shown is old content, but that doesn't mean we aren't getting anything else.

2 RispostePeople act like it's paid dlc... Old raids at a new difficulty with updated gear is really all you should expect of a game at the end of it's days IMO.

The community wants new stuff, but since we know bungie at this point and know nothing more new is coming out we'd at least like all activities to be current. The real problem is how late this update arrived, this should have been out in april, not when destiny is coming to a close

I'm going to play what they give us, enjoy playing it with my clan and friends, and probably keep playing it because as aforementioned we enjoy it. So many whiney children in this thread, the salt is glorious.

Well, then they should've given us the Y1 content in Y2, not at the end of the lifecycle of Destiny1.

You then take the 5 back and say i need to like your videos. I am confused but do it and you give me the 5 back. I'm happy again but have an awkward feeling about that Exchange. Next you take the 5 back again and tell me i need to share your videos to get the 5 back. Now I'm like hold up, is the 5 mine or what? It's not like when you took back the first 5 you added 5 more making it 10 when i liked your video. This is the same damn 5 bucks. I reluctantly share your video and you give me my gift back but it's now 4.25. It's not even 5 bucks anymore. You nerfed my gift. This is what they have done with this game and i can't be happy. If you want to be happy with 4.25 and how they treat you is cool that's on you.

I don't think we are getting fatebringer and the rest of the weapons. Like trials and iron banner in year 2, they will probably just change the stats and keep the looks.

12 RisposteI call it sending off a game that's had a lifespan of 3 years. Most people are done with a game in 3 months. Complaints of recycling content in paid expansion packs were valid. It was inexcusable how much we paid for recycled content. This free update to send off part 1 is a greatest hits send off.

3 RisposteYou can't please everyone. If Destiny has taught us anything over 3 years of constant back and forth changes it's that. I personally didn't ask for this. I know how your typical "mmo like" games work. I have no problems with leaving content behind. The problem was the game needed all content relevant because the amount of content available wasn't enough. Above all else with Destiny 2 I hope Bungie has learned this.
