The problem is they keep doing this very thing. That is the problem. They listen to a tiny bit of certain parts of the community and everyone else is obsolete to them. Everyone that actually has good ideas are ignored. Is this how Bungie should treat their consumers of their product? 85 RisposteI think his upcoming final event is for those of us who have stuck around since the beta. I think the only reason they are doing anything with D1 at this point is for us. They can't invest too many resources into it at this point. [b]So cut them some slack and either play it or not. [/b] If you're going to be negative about a free event thingy at the end of this game's life span...stfu. Save that rhetoric for the pvp team.

4 RisposteI'm excited for it, I just wish they wouldn't do the reveal streams and show what's to come. They should leave it in total secrecy. Every time they do a reveal stream they show way to much content, people get overly prepared and YouTube grubs ruin everything like always.

The perspective that THIS development team is doing what we asked for. But after 2.5.0.2, as well as the decision to strip us of all that we've earned in Destiny 1, and leave us with only character choices (which we could remake anyway) and a few new trinkets (which will not be anywhere near as valuable to us as the ones we've already earned), Bungie needs to restore a little faith or Destiny 2 sales and pre-orders are going to suffer. Destiny already has a history of reusing old content instead of providing new content, and if there's no new content with this update, people are going to be very angry. People won't want to buy Destiny 2 until they've seen reviews (which means fewer pre-orders and already means smaller launch sales). And Destiny has already taken away our items only to try and make us earn them back before, so how do we know Destiny 2 won't force us to do the same. For instance, they've said they are taking our "power". If that means subclasses, will we have to earn back our old subclasses that we've already earned for no reason other than that they want us to, or will we be given new subclasses to fall in love with? Bungie needs to be a whole lot more open and forthcoming, with specifics sooner rather than later, so we can understand that a game we're really already playing, the Destiny MMO franchise, isn't going to get broken more than it already is. And AoT is the next place they'll either demonstrate their trustworthiness, or their failure.

Each dungeon/raid has a specific set of gear, all relevant for different builds or styles, and gives each place relevance. Level and champion points increase with new content but everything gets buffed up. You also pay for new areas that stay relevant rather than become useless. Now imagine bungie doing something like that. Weekly raid pledges so a different raid a week could be the quest, but you could still farm the other raids for a specific gear set for your build. Granted we would need more diversification in order to make it work. Either way, my biggest issue with destiny and the "free" updates are that they always contain content we already paid for once. I bought destiny and initially had access to vault and a reason to do it. Same with how for Poe. All they do is make previously paid content relevant again and expect us to be grateful for it.

It's not like it's going to cost anyone anything if you have e the updates already and will get a few hours out of it I'd like to think...Issue is I'm a massive mess effect fan and that's very close.

You do realise you're referring to two types of people right? People that ask for returning raids aren't the ones complaint about recycled content. They're two DIFFERENT groups.

My worst fear and I hope it doesn't happen. Is that whatever is carried into Destiny 2 is based on your AOT completion now just to get whatever veteran emblem their offering. If the book does not self complete then what I have to re-grind for gear that won't carry over. It's fun and nostalgic but let's not fool ourselves were being swindled.

You can't please or satisfy everyone... I'll be happy if they brought VOG back. TC is bringing back Locust for Gears 4 as playable characters, but not all of the Gears players aren't satisfied about that... Anything being brought back, there will be at least a person unsatisfied... Gotta ignore them and enjoy the best of what is being giving out.
