I'm fine with bringing the raids back. I just wish they gave us new guns. New names, new looks, new stats, new rolls. That rehash of gear has gotten old

It's still re-cycled and old content. Just because you might have wanted it more doesn't make it any different.

4 RisposteLol everyone's talking about how it's pointless because the items won't carry over to d2, I have two simple responses 1.)quit gaming, unless it's a stand alone single game. Did anything from halo 4 move into halo 5? How about from assassin's creed to assassin's creed 2? Or how about from any call duty to its sequel? Or how about from borderlands to borderlands two? 2.) If I apply your logic nothing in gaming ever has meaning. Let's play this out let's say everything does carry over, okay cool when d2 ends now what? Okay we say all of that stuff carries over to number three. Again cool, but what about when d3 ends? Let's just call number 4 the end of the destiny saga for the sake of the model. We're still saying everything from d1-d3 carries into d4. Okay what about when d4 dies or you hit completion of end game? Oh yeah I forgot [b][u]your stuff still becomes obsolete![/u][/b] -end of rant-

All materials could be turned into glimmer or motes. It irritates me when someone calls old raids irrelevant. Edit...PS. I think 390 VOG is going to be a bitch!!! Looking forward to it!

That's exactly why it is lazy, this should have been done at the beginning of year 2 by default not as destiny's last big update

9 RisposteHonestly, I don't understand the whiners here. I am very harsh on Bungie for mistakes they made and false advertising along with cut content/reskinned content (Solar/Voidlord) However, for raids and strikes, the community has been BEGGING for these to come back, and they are... So why are they still complaining. Be harsh on Bungie for doing things wrong, bringing back old raids is not a wrong thing.

I'm harsh when bungie SELLS rehashed content and labels it as new. Like running through strikes backwards. This is a free update meant to celebrate the past and close on a high note. No complaints here.

I'm super hyped. when taken king came out and to had to go back to VoG all I wanted was the old raids to be relevant again. Or have the new taken king armor be spread between all the raids 2peice from VoG some from crota and house of wolfs .all taken reboots of the raid

1 RispondiI just hope its not the only content. A new strike or 2 would be cool or a SIVA fallen sabre strike. New archon forge encounters, skolas or a SIVA Skolas, PoE stuff, either new or revamped would be cool too, i guess we will see next stream what else is coming, still pumped though.

8 RisposteI couldn't care less about the PVE content coming back I've done them a hundred times I want a decent crucible The current state is beyond horrible It's disgusting what pvp become just because of bungie not being able to give us anything than easy and lazy solutions

We've asked for it, because common sense dictates it should never have gone anywhere. Allow all raid gear infusable. Done. See how easy that was? Didn't want elemental primaries? There was so much more gear in all of year 1 than a few elemental primary weapons... We had non-raid primary weapons, special weapons, heavy weapons, Class armor, helmets, etc... So allow VoG, CE, and Skolas gear infusable, but primaries remain kinetic. Not sure what the hard part was. I imagine that if they reintroduced Fang of Ir Yut as kinetic, all arc burn weapons would lose that perk as well (unintentionally).

The problem is they keep doing this very thing. That is the problem. They listen to a tiny bit of certain parts of the community and everyone else is obsolete to them.
