In real life, I hate christmas. I hate joy and I hate happiness. Not to sound edgy, but I deal with depression and I'm a cynic so all that stuff makes me start feeling legitimately sick. Never usually in the holiday spirit at all. But the Dawning actually put me in the holiday mood. Just sitting in the tower looking at the lights hanging in the sky with Destiny's dawning music playing at 7am and watching other guardians running around oddly enough put me in the holiday spirit. I have to say, because of that, Bungie really nailed the Dawning event for me. The RNG levels are also godlike this time around, so that only helped me feel more joyous. The entire set of the winter armor, 3 dynamic sparrows, and 3 "guaranteed" armor pieces in just 12 loot boxes? Man, today is an amazing morning.
