After 15 loses in a row in IB I decided to uninstall Destiny. I only needed 1 more win for rank 5 and it felt like getting kicked in the balls every match. Every single match I played all week was a team of 6 vs randoms. Coincidence? I don't think so.. This game has never been less fun than it is right now. I refuse to play a game that actively tries to make me lose. SSBM is a failure.

No matter which they choose to prioritize, there will always be people who complain. Which is why I have always proposed this idea: It's not hard to have both sbmm and cbmm... Just like how we get normal and hard modes for missions and strikes, just give players the option to choose which matchmaking settings they want to use for each crucible game mode... It's a super simple solution too. e.g. When you click on control in the navigator, just click the square and select "casual" mode (green) for cbmm or "competitive" mode (orange) for sbmm. I made a poll about this that I hope you all take a look at and that bungie notices too. I think it would help the community as well. You should also know i didn't come to this forum to bicker its just my opinion that skilled based match making can help others(such as myself) to get better but not at the cost at getting demolished by people who may have more free time.

So. Im confused about all this. Sbmm makes you play against people similar in skill to you? Cbmm makes your opponents have the same connection as you? Would that not limit the player base and isolate some from meeting players from other places? If that is the case i would rather sbmm. If connection is the factor, i would really only play against other people in my country. The reason i like destiny is i can play with people from all over the world. Like having pen pals with similar interests. Im pretty new to online gaming, but the premise of chatting with others from other places is the most appealing part of it. I have friends from russia usa britain canada germany etc...... does cbmm mean i wouldnt get to play with those people? If so fcuk that. The social aspect of destiny is great when you meet good people. I guess sbmm people dont reallly want to meet other people? Just the people with similar connections? It seems very limiting to me from a social perspective.

jesus just step up your game and become better or play together with bad friends so that you get an easy time.. i play with my "nub" friends once and a while in the crucible and everything gets so much easier..

I am in STRONG TOP 1% and do not understand why TOP 1% or even TOP 30% should play with bottom 10%. Recently I played on my friends new account and I was literally a PVP GOD of all GODS. Every match was like -blam!-ing walk in the park and KD above 20 or 30 was not a problem. I do not want that, I want every player in this game to have fun and not to be just a cannon fodder for jobless people with a lot of free time. SBMM should also be a foundation of ToO with flawsless rank system - once a week you go flawless you only play with flawlesses. Of course - some YT whores or PayForLighthouse people would not agree with this. (I think this will never happen - it would not be good for bungie business) The more I play this game and more I go higher in ranks I see more fgts, more cheaters (i.e. fireateam of 2 - one of players using 2-3 sec good connection (green bar) - 2-3 sec bad connection (red bar) - just try it if you want to be indestructible), more fireteams against randoms, more mindless ELO farming etc. I think only people from TOP 1 or 10% would want to SBMM to be removed. It speaks for itself. Some people think they are good but in the end they are not good enough to play with the players on their level :). SHAME BITCHES.

This game isn't fun at all anymore. SBMM and HCR pulses have ruined the crucible. I would rather not play this game anymore. The crucible lead tells people that don't like SBMM to play strikes. I would rather just not give u money ever again.

They said they were taking SBMM out or reducing it like a few patches ago. Now it feels like it is back. I am really confused. I just played Control last night and Supremacy, and in every lobby, I was running into sweaty players that were impossible to kill. The game should mix players together. Have 1 or 2 good players and the rest average and some below average. Otherwise it is just not fun at all. Having a whole team of really strong players and dying over and over isn't fun. Just leave is what I do, when I run into those. I really can't improve if I am being double teamed or triple teamed by strong players.

tried to sign but it would not recognise my post code. but my reason for signing if @Cozmo is reading these. i purchased a ps4 and destiny for my two brothers as i dont get to see them as much as i would like so i thought if i could get them both into the hobby that i love it would be a great way to connect with them more often. they are both fairly casual gamers and extreamly new to shooters but have fun playing with them and even gotten them through a few raids with the help of some buddies. BUT i literally cannot play pvp with them as due to my fairly decent stats everytime we match up with players WAY beyond there skill level meaning that they just completely destroyed and i have to absolutely sweat my butt off to try and carry them. both of them have all but given up on pvp due to there experience of playing with me as getting zero kills in a skirmish match is no fun for anyone i would love to show them the fun and satisfying gameplay that is destiny pvp in a setting that they can enjoy and be able to teach them in real time some ways to get better at the game but this is just simply not achievable in the current state of the game. i even went as far as making a new account just to play pvp with them and withing about 10 hours of crucible we just started matching the same small group of players i normally match with so have had to abandon that account as well. yes you will get blow out games every now and again and that is OK there is a large enough player base still in destiny that the dilution of these high skill players will be sufficient enough to not make every game a blow out.

I vote to keep SBMM. It makes the crucible a place for all to be able to compete. What most of these anti SBMM guys need to understand is that it is just more than the top 1% that would make a match one sided. Even guys with a kd of .3 or higher than the rest of the lobby is enough to make a match lop sided. The majority of matches would become a joke and cause countless guys to quit including myself. If anything make one or two game modes CBMM and the rest should stay as they are. The beast players already have trials if changes are made to the rest of the crucible there will be no place for the average player.

I am terrible at this game. I fight all the time players with higher KD of 1-2. Instead I should be fighting players of 0-1 KD. Why am I match up against players of 1-2+ kd in every match? Please explain Bungie?
