Stop devaluing exotics
I remember back in year 1 and year 2 that I would freak out whenever I got an exotic, all my friends also freaked out if they got something good, heck, I even freaked out when I saw those golden exotic bounties.
But that's not there anymore.
You beat an easy campaign, have an exotic sword, no, yknow what you can also have the gjallarhorn, arguably one of the most op weapons on game, for just killing a few enemies and picking up bits of metal that look like wolfs.
It's just not exciting anymore.
The point I'm trying to make is that bungee is devaluing exotics, exotics are meant to be THE best weapons that are so rare that you go balistic whenever you got one, but nowadays it doesn't happen because bungee just hands out exotics, ffs you even get exotics semi regularly from bounties now, so what's the point.
I remember freaking out for 15 minutes when I got my hawkmoon, I remember going balistic over my friend getting a gjallarhorn and being so happy for him.
I remember going insane over any and every exotic I got.
And I miss that.
I want the excitement back.
Tldr stop handing out exotics as if they were tiny boxes of Rasins

Bump. Buff hawkmoon and thorn a tad please. Makes no sense imo that legendaries (palindrome, eyasluna etc) are more viable choices than exotics.

18 RisposteI bet you EARNED your ghally too didn't you? Who cares! You once felt special you had the ghally and now that everyone is special you don't feel it anymore. I also remember back in Crota when if you didn't have a ghally you couldn't join. And I hated that although I had it. Exotics really just make people picky not better or special. Picky.

Most exotics suck. How many do you actually use? Bungie realized this and made them the way you have to level up without the raid. Also most exotics suck so bad. There is no reason for them to be in the game because you can't use more than one. Most legendary gun classes have one that blows others away. Did I mention most exotics suck. Like they cheeks.

3 RisposteUgh. This community is never satisfied. Back in Year 1, everyone complained about RNG almost never giving them what they want. Now, we're complaining that it's too easy to obtain gear. You know, this could have all been avoided if Bungie just gave every Exotic armor and weapon a quest line from the beginning. No RNG drops. No 3oC. Just a quest line for every Exotic.

At this point i get more excited seeing a roll on a legendary than any exotic. Exotics simply arent exotic amymore. The exotic engrams i have are being saved for when i hit 400, and most of those will just be used for infusions. Most likely into my legendaries.

3 RisposteI remember being a solo player in year one when I didn't go on forums and also didn't have any friends who played destiny. I never really looked for any playthroughs or tips on destiny even though I played it a lot and then.... I got an exotic bounty. I was so excited I couldn't stop freaking out for about 20 min, I've seen others using it and wearing it at the tower and since then was the gun I wanted for so long. [u]The Bad juju[/u] I knew about exotics but I hadn't done any raids or acquired any up until that point. My first real price of end game content and I still love that gun hope I get that feeling in destiny 2.
