It's actually hilarious reading the complaints from people on how much money they've spent on FOTL.
My hat goes off to you Bungie for putting those items behind a paywall. You've essentially made a form of gambling but for minors. Activision and your shareholders must be laughing.
Dont worry guardians I get it - its your money, you spend it on whatever you like. Just dont start complaining when its made clear that you are buying a chance, and only a chance. Its not guarantee and it never was.
Its funny cause this isnt the first time this has happened, and because of the success Bungie are getting from milking some of their player base, guess what............ it wont be the last time it happens
Guardians please stop complaining or just stop spending
Edit: Obligatory IM TRENDING! edit :/
Just to be crystal clear for those with a lack of reading comprehension...............
I DO NOT care what you spend your money on
- its your money, you spend it on whatever you like.
Hell if Bungie sold that Ghost Ghost for 500 silver, I would actually go ahead and get silver for the first time just to buy the Ghost Ghost - its fking cool imo
Regarding the whole "this is gambling!" vs "this isnt gambling" debate, its my opinion that this is not gambling in its purist form like in casinos, as you will receive something for the money you put in. whereas in a casino you can spend £20/£30/£3000 and come home with absolutely nothing (apart from regret and remortgaged house lol)

2 RisposteWho cares, I spent money on vanguard boosters go cry about it.
-
Just admit it... go ahead! Do it!

4 RisposteI put down $20, didnt get the fire wolf mask. Unlike most people (apparently) i know when to stop putting more money into the game just for a random chance to get something cosmetic.

Disposable income, it's a thing. Let people spend their money on what they want

3 RisposteYou should see the BS going on with gears 4 and the packs

1 RispondiI love all the comments of people. He isn't saying it is wrong to spend your money on this game, just stop complaining about not getting the item you wanted from a rng drop chance that you spent money on.

10 Risposteits not your money so why care. if you're this upset about people spending their own hard worked money, why not go donate some to people who actually need it. I'm sure whining on forums will help all the victims of hurricane matthew in Haiti, God bless them.

8 RisposteFunny, I was actually planning on spending $20 on silver tomorrow when I get paid. This post has, instead, convinced me to spend $40. Thanks OP! #TitanMasterRace

5 RisposteI usually drop 10 bucks on whatever event is going on. Got the Flamewolf mask in the 3rd package so I'm happy with that. Would have liked the sparrow but oh well. Skyrim comes out tomorrow anyways, much better spent imo.

6 RisposteSouth Park explains micro transacts almost perfectly. The jist of it is they make it look like everyone spends a little here and a little there, while in reality micro transactions are made really profitable by all the "whales" who will spend 50 bucks plus easily for silly cosmetic bullshit like this. If they micro transacted by putting a price tag on a cosmetic, like the emotes, that promotes small and selective spending, but why do that when they can make shit random and go whale hunting for those who are either addicts, or somehow just really have so much money with no idea of the value of that money. Micro transacts are making gaming worse.

2 RisposteModificato da OhtheHugeManity: 10/27/2016 11:21:02 AMThat's true. It is just a gamble, and Bungivision makes it like this because they know it will make them a crap load more money. Because of their decision to make it a chance rather than a sure deal, they probably quadrupled profits. A shady, but successful tactic. I might drop 10 dollars in, partially to have a roll, and partially to 'donate' to Bungie's cause. No more than that though, I'm trying to save for a computer

Idiots need to be parted from their low incomes. No problem here. 👍

6 RisposteActually at a casino if you are spending money most of the time they bring you free drinks so there's that...

1 Rispondito be honest I hate that I caved and have bought silver and the ttk legendary content in the past. However I hate more that I didn't do it earlier and now will always be missing certain items like the frontier shell or the blue skull mask.

1 RispondiI agree people are acting like the world is on fire even though this concept in games has been around for forever. You either spend the money or not. I can't remember how many times I spent money on black ops 3 packages and got duplicates but I went in knowing that I have to chance to get good stuff or not. Just because you spend money doesn't mean rng is gonna be in your favor or you are entitled to what you want.
