Congratulations to Clan Die Busfahrer, awesome to see a regular group finish first. I'm sick of seeing all the streamers getting everything done first.
Edit: just to clarify, I have nothing against streamers, it's just nice to see a group of average joes win something for once.

7 RisposteModificato da Moon: 10/19/2016 5:14:37 PMSucks that redeem got screwed because Bungie didn't list their "cheese fix" in the patch notes.
-
Oh yeah!
-
They sure are first. Every third party Destiny and Bungie site tracking stats has them as first.
-
Streamers and YouTube's should always put spoiler alert
-
Thanks ! -blam!- those no life mean streamers

58 RisposteYou know what's really sad? People actually give a shit about world's first for anything in this game. Let's be real. Most of the guys with big streams had sources. Didn't figure it all out, just put on a show for you. Same goes for hard. And at the end of the day? What are they? Nobody. They arent good. They aren't these mystical sources of information. You wait a day and you already have better hand written guides. I was the first person with a retail copy of Dark Souls 2 to nab all the achievements, only guys that beat me started a week and a half prior to release. Think anyone gives a -blam!-? No. Just a random thing I did.

2 RisposteI have no problem with a non-streamer group ie. just a strong clan or a streamer group winning. What I do however not like, is how it was beaten in under an hour. In like 45 f-ing minutes. It's the same reason why a different clan or group gets world first for everything. In more difficult competitions you see the same groups/teams winning somewhat consitently. In games like CS:GO and league of legends you see a lot of the same teams winning the same tournaments over a period of time but in say COD a different team wins every year and it's completely random.

1 RispondiI mean look at competitive games. Most pro players don't stream. Streamers usually finish the raid first due to being able to start first. If you look at when raids usually release, you generally have to be a professional streamer, home schooled, or unemployed to have a chance at world's first. If raids launched at the same time Saturday I'd guarantee you that you'd see more unknowns get world's first.
-
Same here
-
You don't get anything amazing for being first. So I never cared to even compete for it. If bungie actually made it worth something...
-
Did bungie say anything about the spider at the zambonie part? Cause if not, how would a group going for world's first know about it?

16 RisposteI'm just going to put this out there. But watching a stream is not just about watching someone else play a video game. At least not all of the time. Watching a stream is mostly about the social and entertainment aspects. People watch these destiny streamers because they are entertaining, or because they enjoy watching gameplay of content that they might not necessarily be able to enjoy themselves i.e., trials, raids, and general team play. There are also those who just like to chat with the stream/streamer. Stop saying that streamers don't do anything of value. Because it isn't true. Some streamers are better than others, sure. But streamers provide entertainment, community, and gameplay. Plus, you can hop into a stream for a few minutes and leave. You have to devote much more time to actually playing video games these days. Also, you can watch games that you don't have which is really good for people who don't have the money to spend on $40-60 games. There really isn't anything that compares to what they do right now. You don't have to understand it. But, don't assume that streaming does nothing of value. Also, you have to consider that streamers literally play the game all day. So naturally they are going to have more resources and get things done quicker than everyone else. This isn't aimed at OP. Just all of the people commenting that streamers are bad people who don't do anything productive.

19 RisposteAll I can say is...... You can't collect a pension and retire from video game streaming. They will get what's coming down the road. I may not get paid like them but I'm doing my hard time to get what I deserve later on in life.

Modificato da SnazzySquid: 10/19/2016 3:23:10 PMI like it because the mechanisms of hype make it seem like stream teams are some sort of echelon of celebrities or elite players that can't be matched by the silent masses. Not saying that is the truth, but that the courtship between Bungie and streamers can make it appear that way. I get it. They are entertainers and Bungie is hocking a product. But, it is good to see some unknowns steal the title every so often. Congrats on the win.

37 RisposteThey would have if they didn't get team wiped after the siege engine by a bug. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HK4wLvNuaH0 21:30

Modificato da Iain_McNugget: 10/19/2016 3:08:50 PMI've got no hate for streamers, but I love an underdog. Streamers have the advantage of being able to sink a huge amount of time into preparing for events like HM raid release, plus people watching their stream and giving advice etc. I like that 'normal' people were the first through, because it feels like they've beaten the odds. Not that I know anything about the team that got it - they could be a bunch of layabouts who spend all their time gaming for all I know.

20 RisposteWanna know what's awesome?!?! Being world's first in real life. A couple for me..... world's first JD 944 K operator, and states first cat 140m operator. Real life is much more satisfying.....
-
8 Risposteyou realize redeem should have won right? that got wiped after death zamboni for reasons unknown. Or at least unknown to me.
-
1 RispondiI mean, it's cool to be world first. But the only thing it brings is bragging rights. If Bungie were to give them something special, now it would be more worth it.

Support.

1 RispondiIs it just me or was there no official post about the world's first HM? It's odd that the world first of NM is still trending at the top...
