So I've been maining a Hunter Gunslinger since Beta until recently where it got nerfed for no reason, now it's lacking and it needs some adjustments to make it more viable. At first I didn't really mind the nerf because I love the Gunslinger, but as I kept playing Crucible I noticed I was having a hard time doing well, so I decided to switch and try the Bladedancer. The difference between Gunslinger and the other subclasses is pretty noticeable, I started doing way better with Bladedancer even though I had just picked it up recently, some of the perks like Quickdraw, Fast Twitch and Hungering Blade are just too good, the Skip grenade is awesome and the Super is amazing. I don't really like Nightstalker too much and it's probably the subclass I've used the less but comparing it with Gunslinger it's obvious Nightstalker is way better because of Shadestep, Wombo Combo and Shadowshot which is pretty much a Golden Gun with suppression when Quiver is active.
Now on to the Gunslinger Buffs:
Swarm Grenades: These are supposed to be used defensively to deter enemies and run away or damage an enemy to clean up the kill, but they do so little damage that people just pass through them and blast your face with a shotty when you're trying to clean up the kill with a primary. I suggest a small buff to damage to make them more of a threat because they've always been pretty much a joke and make them so they still track Nightstalkers after they shadestep into them.
Scavenger: The perk itself is actually pretty decent but it's still kind of lacking for PvP, I suggest adding a chance of dropping a Special Ammo round after a kill in addition to the Primary Ammo enemies drop after death.
Tripmine Grenades: The grenade not being able to stick to people is fine, it makes people use them how they're supposed to be used, like traps, but I've noticed that when I throw it and it hits an ally the grenade just bounces off and detonates on the ground, I suggest removing that feature which is pretty annoying and also reverting the way it was damage before the nerf.
Keyhole: Make Golden Gun with Keyhole able to penetrate the Titan's Juggernaut shield.
Knife Juggler: This perk is decent but there isn't much reason to using it over Inciendary Blade which is better, I suggest a slight damage increase with the perk or slight boost to projectile speed and straighter trajectory, increased range of Throwing Knife
All of these are just opinions, you can agree or disagree with these freely, also feel free to add more suggestions to the topic on adjusting the Gunslinger and other Hunter subclasses as well.
