I think the Exo stranger only appears to those who can drastically change the future. Mold them into weapons to destroy the darkness. Using us as an example, we destroyed the heart of the black garden, a sort've larger version of the taken blights. We faced the times conflux. She guided us then left us to our own devices when Crota, Skolas, Oryx, and now SIVA rose.
