I remember the game I did it on too because that gun sucked. I didn't bother using anything other than the gun, no super, no nades, no melee, nothing. I just ran into every gunfight shooting. Finished with like 10 kills and 25 deaths but it was fun.

80% of everyone who has First Curse boosted to get it. It's not in any way anecdotal. It's perfectly factual. Look it up on the interwebs. Deej boosted to get it, but still couldn't get it. That's how hard it is. Fact. It's so difficult to obtain that if it were a fusion rifle, people would say to buff it. I know, crazy. When Cosmo hears the word "imprecation", he curls up into the fetal position, sucks on a legendary pacifier and cries uncontrollably. That's what it does to people. Alas, I feel compelled to supplement this post to clarify a potential misconception. You see, most of you (and by most of you, I mean 85.4%) have the illegitimately conceived notion that your quest to obtain imprecation was equal to that of the original quest. I laugh. Ha ha. Hahahahaha. Ha. Not all imprecation quests are created equal. Yawn. Let me tell you of the original imprecation. Please, sit down. The original imprecation was a gun, nay, an origami replica of a gun made from papyrus and mother's milk. It had 6 projectiles made of styrofoam housed in a mechanism one would compare to a rubber band and a finger. By virtue of this very mechanism, one would pull back the elastic band and release the styrofoam nub, causing it to float in the air in a fashion akin to a baby warlock learning to glide - clumsy, yet gentle, slow and soft. Upon reaching its destination 2 feet away (for this is the range of the original imprecation) it would tenderly kiss the cheek of the opposing guardian. That is to say, if it was fortunate to discover a cheek 5 feet wide by 5 feet high standing immobile for at least 30 seconds, it would therefore kiss the opposing warrior on said fleshy part, thereby leaving him or her in a completely unchanged state. Upon seeing the lack of damage, the instigating guardian would immediately snap to a sniper, no-scope the enemy to the body, revert to the impish imprecation and sling 5 more projectiles rapidly (i.e. one shot every 2 seconds) at the still unsuspecting foe. If one was fortunate in the endeavor, he would have been aided by the additional shots of a fireteam member using The Last Word or some such, at which point the last hush of imprecation's foam dart would strike true and down the offending guardian. Such is the tale of the original imprecation. Therefore, let us not bandy frivolous words about the ease of the way when one knows not the challenge of the original imprecation. Rather, let us simply delight in the first line of the sonnet, "The Rose and the Thorn", from the immaculate guardian: "Quoth the delicate flower intertwined with love's first glance, eyes not encumbered with wisdom's last dance, yet shall we dream of a dream to be, of imprecation's quest and the guardian's greed?"

I did mine on my first game. I don't know what's so hard about it.

The first curse is a beastmode gun, you can even 2-shot some people. Have fun ;)

Good job. I know it's a bit late for advice now but rumble would have been a better option for the precision kills. More people to shoot at and also less potential for your kill getting stolen by someone else.

Well done, this seems impossible to me I can't get more than about 3 or 4 kills with the stupid gun... I'm usually dead before I fire a second shot 😛

I feel you. I was expecting something like that because I am not a great shot, especially with handcannons which requires better timing. But I got extremely lucky and found myself in a control game full of noobs on my second attempt at getting it. I also feel like I didn't get the full kills, is it possible this counts if you headshot someone and someone else on your team actually gets the kill? Maybe I was just under counting. It was a while ago.

Does anyone know if I have to get a 7 kill streak (not headshot streak) with only my stupid white hand cannon they give me? It's really irritating am I allowed to kill with my secondary and grenades too?

Your post inspired me to crack on with the quest last night, took me about two hours but I finally cracked it bang on midnight. Not only that but had to do it the hard way. Feels so satisfying to finally have made it, just gotta wait now to collect

Congrats on completion tried to run mine in ffa along with sword kills but focused on sword kills anyway (couldn't get the head shots and sword kills at same time)
