So I was playing some mayhem clash just now, using my arc infinite edge on my new warlock, when I see a guy on the enemy team with raze lighter. I think, "Oh cool, someone I actually have a chance against." So I run at him and he sees me, starts running towards me, and we both swing at the same time. I die. He doesn't. Can anyone explain this? I'm not salty, I'm just curios.

Exotic sword beats legendary sword .

Your blade...it did not cut deep enough

I'd say lag or he swung slightly before you, I've collided with exotics before and won the outcome. Trick to sword battle is charge in like your gonna swing, block to knock them off balance, swing for the kill. Had a hilarious kill about a week back, used the block to save my ass from someone shooting me and would have been blindsided by a dreadfang (I had bolt caster) but he hit the side of my block, got forced back and I slashed him and gave jist enough space to cover me from the shooter. I nearly ran off the edge of the map I was laughing so hard.

His is stronger attack value/exotic/he swung first/block attack

1 RispondiLag. Or he used a phenix uppercut.
-
1 RispondiDid he use a regular swing or the alt swing?

1 RispondiThe power of the dark side was too much for you, rebel scum.

I can only assume its because his was exotic. That, or it's Bungie's wonderful netcoding working as intended.
