Statistically there's more gamers on the PS3 or Xbox 360 that play Destiny then the PS4 or Xbox one n now Destiny wants to force their loyal players out there enjoyment of the game n spend more money on a new system n the add-ons, that's screwed up, n to differentiate legacy consoles to the newer consoles, hell if u ask me might as well call it discrimination to the gamer world.... Y'all need to back track n keep ur loyal gamers in the loop rather then force em to make money for u

As a recently upgraded player: y3 was supposed to be destiny 2. That got a bit delayed. What hasn't been changed though is the initial announcement that y3 onward would only be current gen.
-
That's how I felt when they announced next gen counsels. I was annoyed that the only way to play the new games was to buy a brand new system for 600$. I got over it tho. As annoyed as I am, we can't live in the past forever.
-
First, no one is forcing you to do anything. Second, you like this game right? You want more features and content or not? Then upgrade. They're already at the limit of old gen when they worked in vualt space. Also as everyone else has stated, check your facts, more people play on new gen than old gen.
-
Technology moves forward. And so should you

2 Risposte
Statistically there's more gamers on the PS3 or Xbox 360 that play Destiny then the PS4 or Xbox one
I think Bungie has the stats to disprove that.

PS4 and Xbone were obsolete at launch lol! Nice bait tho kiddo!

Modificato da Ve7n00m: 8/17/2016 7:24:39 AMCall yourself a gamer! Do you wear the same trainers for 13 years? Hobbies cost money, if you're too cheap to spend money on the things you love doing then maybe take up some other hobby!
-
I know it feels that way, but don't worry. Although I would have liked to see them stay the course with last-gen for the remainder of Destiny 1, I understand that the new expansion is just too much for older consoles to handle. I'm okay with staying a last-gen gamer for now. They've delivered a lot of great content, and hey, somebody's got to keep enjoying it :) You can still play Crucible, Vault of Glass, Prison of Elders, do bounties, patrols, lots of things. And you can still find lots of people to do them with. Hope you'll keep having fun with Destiny regardless :)

God your console is older than youtube
-
A) You're not being forced to do anything. Don't want to upgrade? Then don't. You'll just be missing out on the expansion and all the end game activities (Iron Banner, Trials, etc.) that are being brought into Year 3. B) Statistically, only 10% of the Destiny community is on last gen.
-
There's actually more players on current gen consoles than on last gen. Dropping last gen was to be expected at some point considering current gen consoles have been out for a couple years now. I believe it was a step in the right direction for the game to expand and grow.
-
How dare technology improve and game developers want to utilize the most up-to-date platforms and software! Bungie should have developed the game to support it on the original Xbox and PlayStation...
-
You're not being forced. You can still play the past 3 raids and all of the strikes on last gen. You can still play crucible there. Also your stat on saying that most players are on last gen is completely false. Only 10% are on legacy.
-
-
Are you from the past?
-
Lol those consoles are holding the game back. Past gen has to upgrade someday.

Modificato da Jet The Pirate: 8/17/2016 6:23:24 AM360/PS3 account for 10% of the population.

With the new Xbox One S's, the originals are going for about $200. That's very reasonable. Think of it like this, You're basically driving a Ford Taurus when you could pay a little more to get a brand new Mustang.

Modificato da bilbo t baginzz: 8/17/2016 6:40:00 AMNo one is forcing you to buy a currently Gen console. The Choice is yours. If you wish to play a certain game which is only on Current gen then its your choice whether you spend the money on a current gen console or not.
Statistically there's more gamers on the PS3 or Xbox 360 that play Destiny then the PS4 or Xbox one
Its never a stupid post without OP making up some statistics while claiming them as fact. Well done 8/10.

It has been around 10 years plus
-
Uh... No there's not, only 10% of players are on PS3 and the 360. Besides in early 2017 MS plans to shut down the servers for the 360.

You aren't forced to do anything. Playing video games is a hobby it isn't life or death. If you can't afford your hobby find a new hobby or manage your $ better. New systems have been out for years now you should have seen this coming. Get over it or don't but please stop complaining.
