Keep on the training missions they will get you grounded in how the game plays. Play in solo until you feel confident enough to venture in open play (it is a free for all out there). Do some of the missions at stations, they pay quite well are the rep gains lead to more lucrative work. If you are on PC consider getting a HOTAS set-up. Sorry it's grind, grind, grind to trade up to a bigger and better ship. Shortcuts like Bounty Hunting, Trading Rares, Combat, etc have their perks and flaws it's down to personal choice which path you take. There are PLENTY of on line guides and resources (too many to list here) to fill in any gaps that you may have in gameplay and al the background stuff.

5 RisposteSteep learning curve,

5 RisposteI was looking at that on Steam earlier. I played it when it first launched on PC at a friends and din't think much of it. I seem to be seeing a hell of a lot of bad write ups regarding that game. A lot of people saying Horizons is absolute shit.
-
I refunded it once I started watching the tutorial videos. -40 minutes of videos the devs recommend you watch -videos explain how to play with controller, not keyboard and mouse -keyboard controls are complete shit anyways
-
Hope you have fun with it. I have heard good stuff about its I will try it out myself later
-
Its fun I've always played solo just wondering around if you have cargo dont be trusting anyone thats my advice you rarely see another player anyways

7 RisposteShooting the canisters Press a to lock before shooting anything. Landing You have to swing head to left panel to panel. Click at station and click request docking The only issues i have with the tutorial Oh and ignore losing one of last training sims its hard dont kill yourself over it. Final thing is you want to join federation If you dont ill blow your ship to bits :) im not joking ive found 3 bnet users on ed and one of them wasnt fed. I interdicted him and when i talked to him on here later he sure changed his mind ;)

5 RisposteModificato da Psychic Donuts: 8/18/2016 3:10:55 AMBe patient. Are you playing on Xbox or PC?

2 RisposteIt's an absolute blast!

1 RispondiIt's a great game, though it does rely on you to make the most of the sandbox they have created. You've picked an interesting time to come into it, war is breaking out, and we've been pissing off some kind of aliens who are about to make their presence known! It's easy to burn out on the grind so follow your own path and try a bit of everything! I'm playing it on Xbox a fair bit at the moment, feel free to add me and jump in a party, have fun!

1 RispondiIt's epic in VR with a hotas but gets really boring really fast. Just becomes a grind and there isn't really much to explore. Though I guess you can land on some planets now which is kind of cool but I doubt you're going to find anything great if the rest of the galaxy is any indication.

2 RisposteI'll be happy to help if you're on Xbox 1

2 RisposteI suggest looking through the powers and joining one. Each character obtains power through different methods so look through each one carefully and pick one that suits your playstyle be it trading, combat, or smuggling to name a few I also suggest flying to their controlled area before you side with them because you will be marked as a hostile for being in anothers territory if you pick one that is far away but once you start getting merits you can get weekly bonuses of up to millions of credits a week and special ship mods etc. I linked part one of a 4 part series explaining more how it works.

8 RisposteSeems boring! The only reason I prefer no man's sky is because I can get out of my ship
-
It's super fun. I enjoy asteroid drifting

There is a pretty steep learning curve. Don't try fighting until you really get the hang of the game and have money for guns. Trade to get up to that point.
-
5 RisposteThere's a large community here on bnet. We made a group almost a year ago that I took the liberty of inviting you to. The game is a lot easier and more fun with people to play with in my opinion.
-
6 RisposteStay in Solo play until you can hold your own.
-
If you want to get into being a bounty hunter, spend a decent amount of time in the combat training, learning how to pull off manoeuvres and just general flight controls can really help you in a fight.

8 RisposteAlright I've been hearing a lot about this. Someone give me a quick run down
