Thanks for leaving us legacy consoles In the dumpster of Bungie, it would of been great and smart if you released Rol for Legacy console's and then abandoned us when Destiny 2 came out, that would of been way to -blam!-ing simple for y'all, but i bet Activision wanted the money, so they forced y'all to abandoned Legacy console's, thus forcing people to buy new generation console's, then re-buying Destiny all over again, which is easy money Activision! Really -blam!-ing smart to abandoned Legacy console's while their is new game content being made for the active game!!! Could of just abandoned us on Destiny 2 like make it only available for Ps4 and Xbox1, but no, you're a douchebag of a game company, that has too many -blam!-ing server issues, and a really -blam!-ing retarded publisher *cough* Activision! It'd be nice if y'all didn't get Activision to publish Destiny, could of been the same people who published Halo, and y'all were forced to delete game content and make it into an expansion.?.so pretty much, Bungie only -blam!-ed up he servers, Activision -blam!-ed everyone up! So -blam!- you Activision, I used to like y'all when I played Spider-Man on my ps2 but not anymore, because y'all are just as bad as Microsoft, and YouTube Red, just want all that money do y'all? Well -blam!- all of you, except for Bungie, Bungie did nothing wrong except have some really -blam!-ed up server issues! I hope Bungie finds someone else to publish Destiny 2, I may not have a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox1 but I just hate knowing that people have to buy expansions that have game content that was forced into an expansion!
Bungie, don't ever let Activision publish your games anymore, that was the worst decision ever!
Hell, Halo Doesn't have any DLC from what I have been told, and who published that... Microsoft, so you know what, Microsoft may be a better company to publish your game. Just don't ever, be forced to put game content into forced expansions! It may be easy money, but it pisses people off the radar! Remember thay once scene y'all made but scraped it for possible future expansion, he scene that goes like this
*You look out to the sky, and behind you is the Queen's brother who a gun pointing at you*
Yea peoppe, that was originally gonna be in the game, but Activision said "no, just no, we need the money, put it in a expansion or scrap it*
Destiny would of been a great game, if you didn't have Activision -blam!- y'all up!!!
-blam!- Activision!

I'm stoked you can't play :)
-
Oh, your still complaining? When you had a year to get an Xbox one or PlayStation 4? That's funny. You people complain about how they "abandoned" and "Left" you behind, when in reality, you knew this was coming. You knew that one day, they would shut down the legacy consoles, and so they did. In the end. This is not bungie's fault. I let you figure out the rest
don't bother trying to argue with me. This conversation is over.
Move on.
-
Last-gen consoles wouldn't be able to support RoL. Just upgrade to next-gen if you wish to continue playing the game.
-
865 grimore, level 32 character? Shut up get off the forums.
-
Modificato da Daedalus: 8/18/2016 8:32:14 PMRoI takes up to much game data to play on legacy consoles. You literally couldn't load the game on a legacy console if they released RoI for legacy consoles

Modificato da dayman: 8/17/2016 3:21:31 AMmmmmmmmmmmuted and actually reported.

Real shame Bungie didn't take Microsoft up on the dedicated servers offer... just imagine how much better and more enjoyable every Raid would have been without all the server connection lag times, teleporting ogers, glitched up and broken VoG, CE, POE... pvp would actually work like a game should in 2016. Oh man would it have been epic good times. But nope, nope, Bungies full of morons who don't know a good deal when they see it. Destiny's 10 year track will die with RoI most likely as everyone who ends up buying into the bullshit will be mad at Bungie vision and then get butthurt and stop playing Desticles. Btw... Destiny 2 will be more of the same old shit. You think they will make anything new to the game? Lol... it will just be Raids running backwards like they do with all the quests in the current destiny.

Your console is over 10yrs old get a -blam!-ing job and upgrade

You have no periods and that one with three periods doesn't count. You put these escalation points, which you only used three times. What the fucking hell, you sir are -blam!-ing over powered and need to be nerfed. Old consoles can't handle rise of iron, you would have to lose something, to gain something. Let's say you have lose the taken king, to get rise of iron. You would no longer can play the taken king.
-
Old consoles should of been died. They would of held back rise of iron
-
No, they wouldn't have. They would have just added more to Bungie's costs than they added to Bungie's revenue. It is a sensible reason to drop them but the "hold the game back" stuff is ridiculous. Destiny would play on a PS2 if you dumb down graphics enough.
-
Modificato da Ghost593835: 8/16/2016 4:11:03 PMThe old consoles were holding them back. Bungie said it themselves. Also old gen would have to lose something to gain rise of iron. Also that's not how hard ware works dude.
-
Incorrect. Bungie lied about it to justify cost-cutting. There is NOTHING in a Destiny context that wouldn't work on PS3 or even PS2 - heck, other than Internet-based features, PS1 - if you dumb down graphics. It is simply a cost issue to make two versions (simpler graphics and better graphics) and legacy sales no longer cover the cost. The only potential improvement would come from diverting some legacy design and development resources to work on current gen, but again that is simply a cost issue, they could hire more people and do the same without diverting resources if cost were not an issue. I don't mind the cost-cutting but I don't appreciate their lies.
-
why the heck would you want to dumb down graphics? that makes absolutely no sense. go get a job, make money from said job and get with the times. dumb down graphics...wow
-
Modificato da OurWildebeest: 8/18/2016 2:00:08 PMWhat? 1 - I have an XB1 2 - You would "want" to dumb down graphics to make the game work on specific hardware, which is what they have done on Destiny since 2014 3 - But as I noted, this makes sense only while legacy revenue is greater than expense. With legacy market share falling, this is probably no longer the case. Lack of profitability is an excellent reason to discontinue a product, but rather than say that's what is going on, Bungie has encouraged fantasies about the game "not being held back by old hardware" when it never has been held back (they are different versions and the only difference is graphics). 4 - Try reading next time before spouting off? Everything I just said is already in this sub-thread.
Incorrect. Bungie lied about it to justify cost-cutting. Do you work for Bungie? Are you hard war specialist? There is NOTHING in a Destiny context that wouldn't work on PS3 or even PS2 - heck, other than Internet-based features, PS1 - if you dumb down graphics. You would have to dumb down more than graphics. Try making a game. Ai, events wouldn't exist on ps2. The hard ware of the ps2 is inferior to ps3 and ps4. It is simply a cost issue to make two versions (simpler graphics and better graphics) and legacy sales no longer cover the cost. Do you know how much people complained about how under power the Xbox one and ps4 are. Imagine being stuck with old gen console's with out much to do. The only potential improvement would come from diverting some legacy design and development resources to work on current gen, but again that is simply a cost issue, they could hire more people and do the same without diverting resources if cost were not an issue. Of course and made the rise of iron on current gets the better version. While cutting out features that ps3 and 360 can't handle. People would love that. I don't mind the cost-cutting but I don't appreciate their lies.
Old consoles could never keep up with new console's. Or even pc. Do you think a old consoles could handle more? They have limits and that's why bungie didn't want to work on them anymore of course they could of Made the ps4 and Xbox one versions better. To show how inferior the old gen console's are. Adding more events, more things to do and so on
-
This is true. Even when TTK came out destiny started having serious frame rate issues. Neither legacy consoles could keep up and were barely able to run the game
-
Indeed. Frame rate dips. Etc
-
At least you got to play at all. I wanted to buy destiny for my NES, but of course bungie didn't make it for that system.
-
Yeah i wanted to play on ps2 but naaw!!!
-
Bungie needs to realize not all of us have our parents to buy us whatever we want, whenever we want it
-
Gaming is expensive , always been . can't afford it ? work hard till you can . I did . now i have them all including a gaming pc . Quit whining and save some money , buy what you like.
-
I can't believe you thought I was serious
-
Just awesome lol
