Question for my fellow day 1 players
How many of you have reset characters? And what was the reason? I have never reset any of my characters and don't plan on it. I have put a lot of hours into my characters and it seems like a waste of time to reset it and start again. I am not criticizing anyone for doing resets. I personally don't feel the need to although I would gain some grimoire score for creating an awoken character but it's not worth it to me.

I have my 3rd slot as a reset slot incase I want to do the story again for bordem.

I changed from xbox 360 to ps4 in December so had to start over. Was hard to leave my characters and my year one only gear behind but I enjoyed levelling up again. I would never reset my warlock (my main) but I might reset my hunter as it's not even fully leveled yet

Started out 3 hunters then wanted a titan then wanted a warlock so over time I did but never for any other reason

Ditched my second lady hunter because I decided to finally make a titan. Also my original hunter to make a new one. Effectively I moved him to my alt account and the awoken hunter I had made there to my main account.

1 RispondiI reset my Titan and Warlock. I wanted to make an Awoken and make my human female. Made my Warlock Awoken and a human Titan female. At the time I was misinformed that we needed 1 of each to hit max Grimoire. Found out later that wasn't true. Wasn't salty about it... leveled both back up with no spark of light or booster packs. It's not difficult. I wouldn't want to do it again because of the extra subclasses. Lost about 800 hours. Did it the week we got more vault space so I was able to keep my gear.

I have not reset a character either. I, like you, have put a lot of time into them and don't want to delete them. I thought about deleting and going with 3 Titans but can't bring myself to do it. They seem to balance what character fills a roll.

1 RispondiIve been thinking about starting a new hunter. He's ugly af, I'm bored, and prob help my pvp stats from my scrublord early days. But man just deleting hundreds of hours.. [spoiler]He's still a little scrubby :([/spoiler]

1 RispondiI reset 3 of them I think back in HoW. I was thirsty for exotics so I kept levelling them, completing my first Prison, getting the exotic, and deleting.

1 RispondiMine are still the original characters. Got sick of looking at my Vampire Awoken Warlock. Soooo I just put the helmet on. Problem solved. Still though would be nice to change the appearance.

1 Rispondiremade my titan when it came to ttk. wanted to do the story again just to hear the dialouge. Also I hated the way he looked so it was worth it.

Started with one toon, a titan. Then my friend talked me into making two more, so we could run the weekly and the NF 3x/week by switching out items. This was when you had to go to the tower, every.single.time. Anyways, luckily it got old and I made my hunter and warlock. So glad I did.

Originally had male exo hunter, female awoken warlock, and a female awoken titan. Now I have the same female awoken warlock, a new female awoken hunter, and a new male exo titan. So 5 characters total. New hunter came in at dark below and I made the new titan in replace of my exo hunter a few months ago. :)

Never did that. I still had my original warlock hunter and Titan.

Only rest my Hunter and Warlock. I wanted a female Guardian and I hated the way the males looked. My Titan is the same as I started with.

None of my characters are my original characters. I think I re-made my hunter twice, titan once, and warlock once

Not that I can recall on Xbox that is. If this was old school Diablo 2 where if you messed up putting one stat point or skill point into your guy then I could see redoing characters but thankfully it's not.

2 RisposteI thought about resetting my Tighten because I have two exos, then I remembered how much I hated leveling up a third time, and discarded the idea. I then listened to three hours of MMMMM Bop as punishment for even entertaining the thought.
