Hi Guys,
I never post here in the forum or any Bungie communities for that matter. I am a die-hard PVP player and that is basically the only thing I play on Destiny. But this really got under my skin. Once the match starts one guy looses connection to Destiny's servers. 2nd Round I loose my 2nd teammate, I eliminate everyone on the opposing team and then get followed up by being kicked from Destiny's server. I immediately try to ping google.com and to my surprise I am unable to. Hmmm...... Something is really fishy here. Watch the video and it explains what exactly happened.
Bungie can you take a look into this and please resolve the issue.
Ninja Edit: I've taken the liberty of removing the gaming account names of the person(s) who you stated were cheating.
Bungie takes reports and game bans VERY seriously, and so they carefully research those reports against their server logs for actual shenanigans (cheating/exploits). If those reports and the investigation bear fruit, the cheaters will be dealt with. But things like making a vid, creating a topic, and/or naming them here on the forums serves no purpose and has no benefit. If you have used the in-game report tool, then you've done your part. And thank you for doing so.
For those who want to take the extra step, or were kicked from the game (and are unable to access the reporting tool), Bungie has created a Cheating Submission Form that allows players to find the PGCR (Post Game Carnage Report) from their personal history, fill out an official report, describe the cheating, and even link a vid (if they have one). Please feel free and encouraged to use this tool, but pay close attention to the warnings on the form.
* If you are not confident that a player was cheating, do not use this form.
* Abuse of this contact form may result in account restrictions.
* Fraudulent reports and submissions unrelated to cheating may result in disciplinary actions against your account.

for people that dont understand terms let me explain .terms no cheating ,no harrasing terms player: a ,cheats aka breaks terms player b ,doesnt cheat aka doesnt break terms player b goes to form to post name of player a aka cheater on forms, there for now player b who is not cheating is now harrasing player a so now we have this player :a aka cheater but not harraser player :b aka not cheater but harraser thus both have broke terms get the point of why name shaming isnt allowed
-
their is a MAJOR bug in the game were the form will not track my sword kills, I am missing 8783 kills from my data base and I want somthing done about this please.

11 RisposteWhat's the point of not allowing name shaming? If people are blatantly breaking rules, they deserve to be shown in the right direction. If it's blatant and continuous, they deserve all the hate they get to get it through their minds that they are in the wrong. Making name shaming against the rules is like making a law that you can't talk badly about criminals because it will hurt their feelings. You can only talk about them in private or with law enforcement. These people deserve to feel guilty.
-
Ran into this as well yesterday. Really takes the wind out of a good run. Reported all of them.
-
Complete bullshit dude. I hope you still got your flawless that day. They deserve permanent bans.
-
1 RispondiIt is literally federal offense, in the United States, to ddos someone's PC/console. Has to do with hacking/disruption of the flow of information. Kind of like opening someone else's mail. Bet they wouldn't find it so cool when they've been put in prison for five years.
-
3 RisposteDon't just report this here. Go through the official channels to report them to XBL/PSN. This level of cheating is deserving of a console ban.

3 RisposteHow you get a nova bomb at the start of a match? http://imgur.com/ZLo8cTc?

You mean lagswitchers yeah their like cancer

11 RisposteAh those silly bungie ninjas Should have stated your comment is protected from editing and therefore censorship under the second ammendment Also, what's wrong with knowing the identities of cheats? The most malicious thing any player could do with that info is block them via psn/xbl so people don't get match made with them If bungie staff cant do what titanfall did to its cheats, at least let the players titanfall the cheats
-
1 Rispondi-blam!-ing ninjas and their naming and shaming bullshit.
-
They need to console ban, it's easy to rank up, it's not as if they need good weapons / armor.
-
9 RisposteIf they had dropped the permanent ban-hammer on cheaters at the start, it wouldn't be such a problem now. Sometimes, you need to make a visible example out of people in order to get the community at large to act right. It's not worth cheating at a game if you know if you get caught you will have to change ISP's PLUS get a new console and game.

2 RisposteModificato da The Orwell: 7/10/2016 6:02:47 PMMessage to the other Team: 1) What is the point of cheating you way to the Lighthouse when you clearly don't deserve it? If you can't compete, try, and win; then YOU DON'T DESERVE TO GO TO THE LIGHTHOUSE. I say this because I have yet to go myself; I don't deserve to go because I can't compete as well as others; If you can't win, DON'T CHEAT. Stop your cheating or you may get banned next. Play the game normally and when you loose, loose like a Winner and try again.

I was helping a follower to the lighthouse this weekend with my streaming partner. We were up 4-0 and he had a 7.00 KDR; me and the follower had a 2.0 and 3.0. Not only was he kicked from the game, but his stream crashed and entire internet went down. We almost let them come back until my follower dropped three quick snipes on them and saved his flawless. I would have been LIVID if we dropped that game. I feel your pain, OP. Sorry, man.

2 RisposteI was playing last night and literally lost to one team because their warlock kept walking around tanking headshots. He had a solid green all game but not one of us could damage him half the time. It was extremely annoying.

Welcome to Destiny PvP, that's how exclusive content is farmed in these days
-
7 RisposteLMFAO @ "Bungie look into this" Do you think they give a shit about cheaters? Their report feature in game is nothing more than a feel good button meant to calm you in the moment, it's utterly useless. They don't actually do or look into anything. I'll bet you anything these three are still playing or are able to play trials this week and every week from now until the end of Destiny.
-
Some type of protocols should be in place to prevent cheaters from getting a win. They have a kd ratio of .17 and a 44/6 win loss for the week. Any sensible person looking at this data can tell something is drastically wrong. Just knowing that a program within the game should flag this type of behavior for review / ban or something. On a competition level where tens of thousands of dollars are at stake, these types of exploits would never happen. It's a shame what happened, but again so many times customers have gone out of their way to show glaring proof to bungie that there is an apparent problem and yet still nothing is done, not to mention this is a safety issue and is also against the law on a federal level.
-
1 RispondiCan we get at least a little confirmation from anyone at Bungie that this is being looked into??? This is a clear DDoS attack and I am tired of playing against people like this. We get at least one of these a weekend with my group. Bump if you agree.
-
6 RisposteInb4 ninja remove the video proof! In this video there are people that clearly use an host-booting program! Bungie it's time to do something about this shit!
-
Bungie says they take cheating VERY seriously but it's hard to believe that when there's still people doing this EVERY week. I think this should happen to make people believe this: Once trials becomes live each week you should get a splash screen like IB. Trials is now active blah blah blah WE WILL BAN CHEATERS etc. Last week we banned 5 players temporarily, 1 permanently. etc etc.
-
25 RisposteSo you literally gave Bungie video proof. Balls in your court Bungie. Prove that you can host an online based game.
