I've had the misfortune of playing a great number games lately where I was put up against some seriously impressive players. While my sodium levels were indeed on the rise, I couldn't help but admire how damn deadly some of these guys were.
They were fantastic at escaping seemingly impossible situations, spot on with sniping or excellent shotgun warriors, and seemed to know exactly how to pinch and pressure me and my team (90% of them were in fireteams so no surprise there).
Most don't respond, but I feel being a good sport about it all helps take the edge off at least a little.

11 RisposteModificato da Crusy: 7/7/2016 1:26:37 AMI ran into a guy, it was 5v3 and his 2 teammates left in the first minutes and he stayed and held his ground until matchmaking found him a team, he ended the match 1st overall with over 4000 points, mad respect for this guy

Dude clotheslined me with a throwing knife in a good gunfight. Nails me in the head, so I sent a message like GOOOOAAALLLLLL.
-
All the time. A guy went unbroken 17-0 against us the other day and I sent him a GG. Guy was a Twitch streamer carrying though so I kinda hate him, but he had a GG
-
I got a gg from an opponent after he watched me melt three of his team's shotgun rushers with a fusion rifle. From his teammates, I only got a few salty teabags.
-
no they send me nice messages I roast them.
-
Only if I do good too
-
Yes and they're now my friends, we rarely play together though ...
-
Just sent a highly skilled report and a gg to a dude who kept sniping me with a test rifle. Honestly, I was thinking of this thread. Spread the love!

Yes. Sent out a few and got a few last week too. Sweaty Iron Banner but a lot of fun, only ran into super leggy matches once or twice all week. I think it's good sportsmanship to acknowledge your opponents skill.

As I scroll through these posts I see a lot of people mistaking gg for git gud. Why? For years, gg has been good game. I don't associate it with git gud otherwise it would get too confusing trying to decide which it is.

An entire lobby messaged me congratulations when i got a very good eyasluna in the postgame rewards
-
Once, in rumble me and a dude were battling it out, he had dregs I had chaperone. I won by score like 50 points ahead of him and everybody else in the game was under 600 points had to say gg

Mayhem Clash today. Joined a game in progress (in Mayhem?!?! How?!?) Our team is winning, we have 6, they have 4. (Somehow it was fair I joined the team who was winning and had more people). Their team stuck it out like pros, decided to Nova Bomb some banana colour Titan from about 2ft away. *Boom* Headshot sniped, mid-animation. Can't even get mad at that. Sent him "Nice shot!" At the end, got a "thx :D". Must been the first time I've never gotten something hateful back. Thanks for reminding me to send those GG's.

Nope but then again I've never gotten hate mail either, it's like being in high school: I'm extremely forgettable.
